April Amazon Purchases

April flew by! This month was all about embracing the at-home life for us. I’m rounding up my April Amazon Purchases today & I feel like they reflect the times. I got in some home essentials, things to do at home improvement projects with, some new books, a few beauty favs, & some new fitness equipment. I’m rounding up everything for you all to shop below!

Sharing a roundup of all of my April Amazon purchases including all the random home, fitness, beauty, & lifestyle finds I've gotten the past few weeks.

April Amazon Purchases

Below I’m rounding up my April Amazon purchases broken down by category. Amazon continues to be my go-to for pretty much everything these days. Since we’ve been doing a lot of projects around our house, this round up includes a ton of home related items, at home gym equipment, beauty products & more. I included photos of all of the items I had one of.

Home

Printer: There have been countless times I’ve needed to quickly print an invoice, sign, etc. so I finally pulled the trigger & bought a printer. This all-in-one printer comes with a scanner, copier & is wireless (this was a huge win for me) so I can easily connect my phone or any device. I didn’t have a huge space for a printer & love how sleek & compact this one is.

Printer Ink: These black ink cartridges were under $20 & had over 2k positive reviews. Can’t go wrong!

Printer Paper: I’m really impressed with the quality of this printer paper. It’s nice & thick. The color is also very bright white, which I like. It’s under $10 & comes with 500 sheets so will probably last me a while!

Zip Ties: You can use these multi-purpose cable zip ties for so many things around the house (both inside & outside) & are just good to have on hand.

Essential Oil Diffuser: I shared this ceramic stone essential oil diffuser in last month’s Amazon blog post when I bought it in white. We’ve been using it on a daily basis in the living room, so I bought another one for our bedroom in the terracotta color. I get instant gratification when I turn it on & smell the oil diffusing into the air. If you don’t have one already, I highly recommend this one! Plus, it’s chic & will look good in any room.

Essential Oils: I’ve been using these essential oils in my diffuser & love them. Lately, my go-to blend during the day is the boost blend since it promotes energy & helps you recharge. In the evening, I like to switch over to the groove blend to help destress, or the dusk blend which promotes calmness. The oils come in 5 different blends. Let me know if you try any of these out, would love to know your favorites.

Metallic Spray Paint: I recently used this metallic spray paint on the handles of our kitchen cabinets & was pleasantly surprised how well it turned out. It can go on any surface, dries quickly & doesn’t have a harsh smell to it. It comes in 15 metallic shades. I got it in the pure gold. I finished the cabinets with this metallic buffer finish to complete the look.

Paint Brushes: You can’t beat the quality & price on these paint brushes. I got the 5 pack that comes in all different sizes. I like to keep them around the house for projects. Over 1k positive reviews can’t be wrong!

Blanket: You can’t ever have too many blankets, am I right? I got this waffle weave throw for our new outdoor couch. It reminds me of the (much more expensive) Nordstrom waffle weave blanket we have in our guest bedroom. It comes in all sizes & 3 colors. I got the twin size in the khaki color. It’s lightweight & perfect for summer.

Pillow Insert: I’ve been using these under $20 pillow inserts to switch out our pillows in the bedroom & living room. I like these in particular for our bedroom since they come in larger sizes to fit our king bed & are more firm. I use these softer pillow inserts for our accent chairs & couches.

Books

How to Win Friends & Influence People in the Digital Age: Dale Carnegie’s time-tested advice has carried millions upon millions of readers for more than seventy-five years up the ladder of success in their business & personal lives. Now the first & best book of its kind has been rebooted to tame the complexities of modern times & will teach you how to communicate with diplomacy & tact, capitalize on a solid network, make people like you, project your message widely & clearly, be a more effective leader, increase your ability to get things done, & optimize the power of digital tools.

Atomic Habits: This best selling book offers a proven framework for improving–every day. James Clear, one of the world’s leading experts on habit formation, reveals practical strategies that will teach you exactly how to form good habits, break bad ones, & master the tiny behaviors that lead to remarkable results. This book has been on my list for years– I need to finally pull the trigger & read it!

Open Book: Jessica Simpson takes readers on a remarkable journey, examining a life that blessed her with the compassion to help others but also burdened her with an almost crippling need to please. Open Book is Jessica Simpson using her voice, heart, soul, & humor to share things she’s never shared before. Fun fact: Jessica Simpson went to my high school!

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*uck: There are so many things we care about in life. But which ones truly matter? Best selling author, Mark Manson makes it clear that in order to live our best life we need to stop sweating about the little things & reevaluate the ones that really matter. His counterintuitive approach on living your best life is based on embracing our fears, flaws & uncertainties in order to find the courage, strength & perseverance we all seek. At the end of the day, life is about being grounded & staying true to yourself. I think we all need a reminder of this sometimes.

Eat Clean Play Dirty: Recipes for a Body and Life You Love: I can’t tell you how excited I am to have this cook book in my life. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, then you may recall seeing Sakara Life on my stories. This book is by the founders of the Sakara Life, an organic plant based meal delivery service. I bought two of them to give away to some of you on my stories! Their recipes are founded on the idea that food is supposed to be nourishment and medicine to our bodies. If you want to learn more about the Sakara Life, check out my Sakara Life review for more info!

Beauty

Nail Buffer: This 4-in-1 nail buffer sure has come in handy lately. You can easily buff, smooth & shine your nails in just a few seconds. Each side is & color coded with fun neon colors & can be used up to 4 times. Highly recommend grabbing a few of these to keep in your purse or car for on the go!

Moisturizing Face Oil: I love multi-purpose beauty products & this oil is definitely one of them. You can use it on your face to moisturize & brighten your skin or even on the ends of your hair to provide nourishment & help prevent breakage. Not to mention, it’s under $10 & has over 2k positive reviews. You really can’t go wrong!

Cosmetic Bag: This under $25 portable cosmetic bag is definitely worth the hype. It’s the only way I can keep my makeup, makeup brushes & skin care organized when I travel. It’s the second one I’ve bought. Not because it doesn’t hold up, but just because I used it SO much & wanted another & a brand new, clean one.  All the compartments are adjustable & the fabric is super easy to clean. It also has a separate slot for your makeup brushes & keeps them protected when you travel. Oh, did I mention it’s carry on approved?!

Bronzing Mouse: I feel like I’m always trying new self tanner products, anyone else? I saw this bronzing mouse had over 3k positive reviews & won ELLE Beauty Awards so thought I’d give it a shot. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the results. It was easy to use, went on smoothly & dried within a minute. I also applied it with this applicator mitt to help prevent streaks.

Fitness

P.volve Kit: This kit has everything you need to achieve a fully body at home workout. It comes with an entire resistance band set & workout ball designed lengthen & sculpt your muscles. I’ve been doing P.volve workouts for the past month or so & couldn’t recommend them enough. Their site has over 150+ workouts to keep you motivated.

Ankle Bands: These resistance ankle bands have become part of my daily workout routine and let me tell you, they are killer. They target your hips, glutes & thighs to help sculpt your lower body muscles when doing P.volve. If you’re looking for more at home gym inspo, check out my at home gym equipment guide.

Other

No Show Socks: If I had a go to sock, this would be them. I pretty much wear them on a daily basis. They’re super affordable & come in white, black & beige. I got them in both white & black since they go with everything. The material is a mix between cotton & spandex, which make them super comfortable & stretchy.

Silicone Cover Ups: I cannot tell you how many times these self adhesive cover ups have saved my life. We all know how hard it can be to achieve that sexy, braless look (how does Jennifer Aniston do it?!) With just a simple peel & stick, these do the trick! I’ve been wearing them for years & continue to keep my closet stocked with them.

Phone Ring Light: When it comes to selfies, it’s no secret that lighting is key. This under $25 ring light clips on your phone & provides just the right amount of light to capture the perfect photo without having to use flash. It comes with 3 different brightness levels & is rechargeable. I’m so glad I came across this.

Phone Arm Band: I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed being hands free during my workouts & runs, thanks to this arm holder for my phone. This one in particular is super stretchy & adjustable. It also as a compartment for headphones & key storage. It’s under $15, has over 3k positive reviews & comes in 7 colors.

YETI Rambler: I’ve been spending so much time outside lately & this cup helps keeps my beverage at the perfect temperature. It comes in almost 20 colors. I got the sand color. I also got this extra replacement lid & straw. Both of these make a great gift for Mother’s Day!

That’s a wrap! I hope you all enjoyed seeing all of my April Amazon purchases. Check out last month’s post for more killer home deals & fashion finds! I’ll keep sharing if you all like to see them & will be working on more Amazon try ons to help you all score some great fashion finds, soon. XO
