It’s no secret that ever since our wedding I became a skincare & beauty junkie. I love to try new products & switch up my routine as needed to meet my skincare needs throughout the year. I generally try skincare products until the bottle is empty or for thirty days before sharing them with you all, because I want to be sure that they work. You may have seen my summer morning skincare routine post that I shared last month (a little before the summer technically started, but whatever) & today I am sharing my summer night time skincare routine.

SUMMER NIGHT TIME SKINCARE ROUTINE

I change my products up throughout the season & as I find new ones that I love, so I plan to do a new skincare post each season for both morning & night to share with you all. I’m also sharing a little graphic I made to remind you all the proper order in which to apply your skincare both morning & night. All of the product names below are hyperlinked so you can easily shop them OR you can click through the widgets at the top & bottom of this page.

Tula Cleanser

I’ve been using this cleanser for about two years. I think it works so well & I love how long it lasts. It helps keep my skin clear & is a cult favorite for a reason. You can get 20% off any Tula products using code ALO20 on their site.

Toner

These Ohii toner pads aren’t pictured above, but are a new favorite of mine. I got a few of them in to try & already used an entire jar of them in a different scent. I love that these feel like they help exfoliate my skin a little! The grapefruit + raspberry scent is my personal favorite.

The Nightly

Beauty Bio’s The Nightly is a smart serum formulated with an age-defying retinol complex & volumizing hyaluronic acid designed to identify and repair damage deep within the skin creating a firmer, smoother-looking appearance while you sleep.

Night Serum

Farmacy’s Honeymoon Glow night serum is a really good product. I first got it to be a more clean option to my old tried & true + cult favorite, Good Genes. I love it & think it works so great while being a much cleaner, safer product. I’m a big fan & am definitely ordering more from this brand to try, soon. I unfortunately think that my other one worked better so I may keep searching, but think that the benefits of clean beauty definitely outweigh the potential long term effects so I’m weighing my pros/cons over here! The struggle.

Cooling Eye Serum

This Tula product has caffeine in it to help make your eyes look less tired. I’ll be honest, I’m yet to find an eye cream or serum that I feel like I can’t live without so while I use this because I know I need SOMEthing, I’m still on the hunt for what I feel like is my holy grail product. I plan to try some new ones out soon & will report back. In the mean time, this is what I’m using & it definitely doesn’t hurt– I just haven’t had the ‘Omgosh’ moment yet. Again, use code: ALO20 for 20% off of any Tula products.

Resurfacing Peel

This resurfacing peel is a leave-on peel that improves skin texture & minimizes the appearance of pores, fine lines, & dark spots without irritation or over-drying. Glycolic, lactic, & malic acids clear away dull surface skin cells, while hyaluronic acid & essential fatty acids nourish to reveal a brighter, more youthful-looking complexion. I love how clean Beautycounter‘s products are!

Spot Treatment

The spot treatment by End Zit is the end all, be all of blemish treatments– pun intended. I love this stuff! Even my husband uses it. It comes in a few different shades because it acts as a spot treatment that also covers up any blemishes– so really, it’s great to use day or night. This stuff is magic & I swear by it!

Very Clear Moisturizer

I’ve been using this Derma E Very Clear Moisturizer for years & have no plans to stop. It helped clear up my skin & helps keep it clear. It’s so rich & a little goes a long way. I find this at Whole Food or order a few at a time of Amazon because I know I’ll use them one day. I never want to not have it on hand because any time I’ve gone a few days without it I notice. This product was a game changer for me.

Antioxidant Face Oil

I am in love with this Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Oil. I love to put it all over my face, neck. & even rub it into my hands. This is a luxury facial oil, high in critical antioxidants, to deeply moisturize, nourish, soothe, & rejuvenate your skin while restoring its youthful glow.

Retinol

Another awesome Drunk Elephant product, this retinol is amazing. I’ve noticed SUCH a difference since introducing retinol into my skincare routine. They use a clean, cutting-edge formula with one percent vegan retinol & superfood-rich ingredients to diminish the look of fine lines, wrinkles, & sun damage. If you aren’t using retinol yet– you should be!

Lip Glossy

I use this morning, noon, & night. I absolutely love how moisturized it leaves my lips. I love the smell, too. It’s all natural, easy, & I really keep one in every bag + a few places around the house so it’s always on hand.

ORDER MATTERS

Order is very important when applying your skincare, so I made a little graphic that you all can save or pin to your Pinterest boards for easy reference.

I will work on a weekly skincare routine post for you all soon, too but in the mean time, I also use the Beauty Bio microneedling Glo Pro tool at night about three times per week, as well as Nurse Jaime’s Uplift massaging beauty tool a few times each week. I also swear by using the Drunk Elephant baby facial mask once per week, too.

Taking a probiotic, drinking a lot of water, getting good sleep, eating well (I eat mostly plant based), & getting regular facials (I love Dermaplaning) also help a ton with skin! For more skincare info, check out my morning skincare routine post! XO
