White is always one of my favorite colors to wear, but particularly in the middle of summer. This lace white maxi dress was especially perfect for this holiday weekend. It was so easy and comfortable paired with sandals. This would be an amazing dress for any summer brides to wear for a shower or even dressed up to a rehearsal dinner. The best part? You can rent it. My holiday weekend included a ton of pool time, playing with (and working on training) my new puppy, and seeing friends. Our puppy is currently afraid of her leash so we are doing all we can to try and ease her into it or learning to like it. She’s doing well with potty training, but we are deep into biting everything– including us! Both of our hands are covered in little puppy bites. Sweet girl has a busy mouth! The weekend also included a ton of food– hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, candy, pasta, pizza, you name it. We’re cooking some tacos tonight (and baking cookies), but then tomorrow it’s getting back on track for this girl! Something about starting fresh after a holiday weekend or weekend away makes me excited about eating healthy and working out again so I get back to feeling better. Food and rest is good for the soul, but I ultimately feel best when I’m more on track with healthy food and good exercise. Whatever you did this weekend, I hope it was safe and so fun! Next week means my summer vacation is officially half way over. I’ve got some fun weekend trips in July and will be living it up and enjoying this time off in the mean time!
