WHAT IS A SALT FACIAL?

A salt facial is a three step facial that helps restore, replenish, and rejuvenate your skin in just sixty minutes.

The Salt Facial:

• Helps you experience immediate results with no downtime
• Nurtures, detoxifies, hydrates, and promotes healing in the skin in a single treatment
• Stimulates oxygen production in the skin for that dewy glow, naturally
• Provides advanced results beyond microdermabrasion for smoother, clearer, healthier skin

Before doing anything, they’ll ensure your skin is clean. We started with a light cleanser for me.

Step one includes a natural sea salt exfoliation that reveals tighter, healthier skin. It is priming your skin to help it properly absorb skin care products so you can get maximum results.

Step two combines ultrasound technology with hydrating topical care to accelerate healing and oxygen production.

Step three incorporates LED Phototherapy to treat acne, remove redness, reduce pigmentation, and promote collagen production.

SALT FACIAL REVIEW

I absolutely loved this treatment. My skin felt incredibly smooth after and I felt like my skin was able to better absorb all of my skin care products afterwards. I especially love that there is no down time. I was out and about right after and you can put on makeup as soon as you need to afterwards to carry on with your day. Between my full time day job and blogging, having little to no downtime is really important to me, which is why this treatment was recommended! This is definitely one of my new favorite treatments. It was perfect to get all of that dead winter skin off and feel fresh for spring.

ENLIGHTEN MD

If you’ve been following me for awhile, then you’ve definitely seen me post about Enlighten MD on my blog, Instagram, and stories. I’ve been going to Enlighten MD for over two years. I started going to see them in preparation for my wedding and have continued to see them for my skincare needs! I go see them every few weeks without fail for my dermaplaning (AKA the secret to baby smooth skin), a treatment I swear by. One of my goals in 2019 was to focus on skincare over makeup and they are helping me achieve that goal without doing anything too drastic or requiring too much down time. They really have taken the time to get to know me and my skin to ensure that they are meeting my skincare needs!

Enlighten does everything from dermaplaning and facials to laser hair removal, photofacials, and more. They are working on expanding their space (and their treatment list) and have so many great things in the works. Currently, they have a boutique on site, Enlighten Living, which makes shopping before/after treatments so easy. They carry a TON of my go to brands. They are also working on a beauty salon and a fitness studio on site. It really is becoming a one stop shop to a more improved you!
