We had plans with some friends to watch a preseason Cowboy’s game a few weekends ago when I was in the midst of my Whole 30. We wanted some easy to share food we could snack on during the game & I had a craving for something buffalo. We settled on some Whole 30 okra fries & Whole 30 buffalo cauliflower. MEDITERRANEAN COD RECIPE

I’m in the midst of another Whole 30 & I’ve been trying to keep things simple in the evenings with protein (I am mostly plant based & stick to fish over meat these days) & non-starchy veggies. When trying to keep things simple, I like to kinda wing things in the kitchen. I find that if I keep the ingredients simply & non-fussy, that it almost always turns out great.

SPIRULINA SMOOTHIE RECIPE

I love a good, nutrient packed smoothie or smoothie bowl. I find that they are so satisfying & are such an easy way to get in a lot of good, healthy foods. I like to prep as many ingredients as I can ahead of time for the week in a bag so I just add the liquid & any frozen ingredients to it & blend so I have a quick, easy meal or snack ready to go.

I am a big fan of corn. Something about it after doing quite a few Whole 30s feels indulgent. I love corn added in so many recipes & especially love it on it’s own. I do not love the feeling of having food all in between my teeth after eating it on the cob though. Mexican street corn may be my favorite style of corn, but I prefer to make esquitas (off the cob) instead of on the cob (elotes) so I don’t have to worry about keeping floss right on hand.
