CLOFFICE REVEAL

Today is an exciting, long-anticipated day. If you’ve been following along since we announced that we’re moving then you know we bought our first home this year & moved in at the end of January. We’ve had quite a bit of updates to do (& that we are continuing to do), in addition to decorating it. As I first mentioned in my A Lo Abode mood board post, I wanted to try & approach things a room at a time after taking care of some bigger items so that I could really focus on details in each space without getting overwhelmed. I wanted to focus on my Cloffice (Closet + Office) first so that I could feel inspired & motivated when working on the blog. I finally feel like it’s complete so today I am sharing my cloffice reveal with you all!

CLOFFICE TOUR

It only took four months for me to decorate this little fourth bedroom we are using as my Cloffice, but I’m finally sharing my Cloffice tour with you all. I’m including images of each little corner & detail for you all to see. I’m also including a video tour at the end of this post. I am the type who will constantly be rearranging things, but at least it feels complete for now.

CLOSET DESIGN PROCESS

I knew that I wanted to work with IKEA Frisco on my closet design process. I had so many photos of the IKEA PAX wardrobe system saved on my Pinterest inspiration boards that I kept coming back to. I love how completely customizable the PAX is based on your individual needs & what space you’re using it in. I shared an entire blog post about my closet design process with Ikea where I gave more insight into working with them in their Design Center & the installation process. I absolutely love how everything turned out & how perfect the design is for me!

OFFICE FURNITURE

I had a big vision for the office furniture in my Cloffice. I was starting from scratch & wanted everything to be clean, functional, with some moody touches. I wanted the furniture to be pieces I could use for years to come & that could be flexible in other spaces. I partnered with Safavieh on all of my closet furniture, rug, & my lighting in the Cloffice, which I shared all about in my office furniture post.

STATEMENT WALL

After painting the back wall behind my desk & hanging art, I kept looking at it thinking that it needed something else. Something ‘extra.’ I played with the idea of painting an accent wall, but I kept coming back to wallpaper to make a statement wall instead. I love wall paper when it’s used for an accent wall & in smaller spaces to make a fun statement, so I thought that would be perfect here. Because the room is generally neutral with the clothes & accessories adding color, I wanted to keep the statement wall neutral, too. When I found this moody floral wallpaper with metallic accents I knew it would be perfect! I absolutely love how it turned out. It made SUCH a difference in the space & I can’t wait to play around with wallpaper more in our home.

CLEAN & CHIC

I wanted to keep my cloffice clean & chic so I replaced all of my hangers & got a new floor length mirror. My previous hangers were black felt & my mirror was a silver metal frame. I switched both to acrylic with gold accents.  My hangers are c/o Closet Complete & I love them. I love that the clear acrylic allows you to see all of you clothes without getting distracted. I chose the gold accent to add a little glam touch, but they are also available in rose gold & silver. I got the non slip hangers so I don’t have to worry about my clothes slipping or falling off. I saw this lucite or acrylic & gold mirror that matched the hangers so I of course, had to get it. I’m obsessed with how it all ties together.
