it’s just barely starting to get cooler in Dallas, but I’ve been shopping for an upcoming trip and am looking forward to lower temps sticking around! I can’t help but shop for cooler temps and hope that helps bring them on quicker. I got this jacket in and thought I would save it for really cold weather, but I just couldn’t. Today, I’m talking about teddy coats for fall including how to style them, why you should go ahead and add one or two of these to your closet, and rounding up 20+ of the cutest teddy coats you can snag right now before they sell out!

WHY WAIT?

Sometimes you just can’t wait and why should you? I was so obsessed with this teddy coat when I got it in that I wanted to wear it. I waited for a cooler night and threw it on over a body suit with jeans. This body suit has a low back and is sleeveless, so it’s perfect for being indoors when you’re out on date night or a night out with the girls.

I can’t stop petting this jacket! It feels like a snuggly blanket or robe. It comes in a few different colors and for how much use I’ll get out of it, I think it will get amazing CPW (cost per wear).

STYLING TEDDY COATS

I absolutely LOVE having these as my go to jackets to throw on. I grab for these a ton when I’m wearing just jeans and a t-shirt or even work out clothes and want another easy layer. I like wearing tank tops when I work out, so having one of these is perfect for heading to the gym or taking my pup out for a walk. I think it’s great to wear a fun top underneath these because they will keep you warm while your outside and then when you’re inside you can have a cute outfit without feeling too covered up or frumpy in a sweater.

You can style teddy coats like I did here with a simple jeans and bodysuit or t-shirt look dressed up with booties or you can wear them dressed down with leggings and sneakers. I also love them styled with mini skirts and dresses.

I had Monday off for Colombus day and for our State Fair day, so this is a four day work week for me. I love that it is already flying by! I wish every weekend was three days. I swear I would be more productive and cram five days of work into four. I actually have training for my job on Thursday and Friday so this week I basically have to do five days of work in two days. Next week I’m only at work three days, too because I’m heading back to Nashville. I just ordered another one of these teddy coats (I swear these round ups and my Friday Favorites posts always get me into trouble) to bring with me.
