I asked you all on stories which pieces from the Nordstrom Sale you wanted me to style multiple ways. The most popular response was a classic camel coat that I shared from my in store purchase roundup on the first day of the sale. I was so excited to see this! The camel coat was definitely a favorite of mine. I’m kicking off my NSale series on how to style one piece multiple ways with this coat, but will also be sharing styling ideas for cardigans, joggers, dresses, & more. Stay tuned for those! In the mean time, today I am sharing 12 ways to style a classic camel coat from the Nordstrom Sale.
12 Ways to Style a Classic Camel Coat
Below I’m sharing 12 ways to style a classic camel coat to help you all get some styling inspo. A piece like this is such a good investment because of the CPW (cost per wear) you’ll get out of it. Plus, it’s timeless so you will have it for years. This one is on sale for $100 off! I got a size XS in it & feel like it fits oversized. It’s great to have room for layering, but I could definitely do an XXS in it. With that said, I’d consider sizing down one size in it. I’m including outfit ideas for everything from a coffee run to day time casual, work wear, going out, & more below.
I’m wearing this camel coat (XS, size down if able), this layered necklace, & this pendant necklace with all looks below!
Loungewear // Coffee Run
There are so many days where I stay in loungewear, but might pop out for a quick errand. That is the inspo behind these casual looks that aren’t too sloppy for the outside world, but comfortable enough to get in & out as needed.
Black Sweater (XS, fits oversized) // Leggings (I wear both XS & S, I like both for different days/moods) // Black Sneakers (TTS) // Hat
White Sweater (XS, relaxed fit) // White Sneakers (TTS)
Crop Top (S, should have gotten XS (so TTS) // Joggers (XS, TTS) // Sneakers (TTS)
Day Time Casual
Comfortable day time looks are key! Maybe you’re going to lunch, running some errands, or just want to feel a little more put together (while still being comfy) at home. Enter, day time casual looks.
Gray Sweatshirt (XS, TTS or size up if between) // Jeans (25, TTS) // Sneakers (TTS)
Button Down (XS, TTS) // Jeans (25, TTS or size up if between) // Booties (I got my true size & they feel fine, but some have said they prefer how 1/2 a size up fits better)
We all have to grind at some point, so may as well be chic while we do it! Whether you’re just zooming into your meetings (Ah, 2020) or if you are actually going into an office, I have you covered on workwear looks no matter what your dress code is!
White Sweater (XS, TTS) // Black Jeans (25, TTS or size up if between) // Mules (I got my true size, but a 1/2 size up would have probably fit better)
Black Dress (0, TTS) // Leopard Bag // Heels (TTS)
Day to Night
Fall is often my favorite because there are so many day to night look options. These are for the days that you are bouncing around & then meeting friends or having a date night, but don’t want to totally change your look! Day to night looks are always so fun to put together.
Cropped Cardigan (Small, I usually size up one in this brand) // Jeans (25, TTS) // Booties (I got my true size & they feel fine, but some have said they prefer how 1/2 a size up fits better)
Black Dress (US 2, I usually size up at least one in this brand– I think a US 4 would have fit better though) // Booties (I got my true size & they feel fine, but some have said they prefer how 1/2 a size up fits better)
Turtleneck Sweater (XS, TTS) // Jeans (25, TTS) // Booties (TTS)
Sometimes you just need to get dressed up for a night out, am I right?! These looks can work for date night or girls night so no matter what your plans are (even if you just wanna dress up to stay in) you’re covered on an outfit.
Ribbed Dress (S, size up) // Booties (TTS) // Hat
Top (XS, TTS) // Skirt (24, I sized down because the suede stretches, grab your true size for a relaxed fit) // Boots (I size up a 1/2 size)
I’m wearing this camel coat (XS, size down if able), this layered necklace, & this pendant necklace in all looks above!
