Unless you were completely off the grid yesterday, then you know that early access of the 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started for Icon & Ambassador level cardholders. In my blog post yesterday, I rounded up my top picks from the sale. It included some amazing basics or wardrobe staples & items that I felt may quickly go out of stock. I worked for hours & hours yesterday to go through EVERY (really, every) page of the sale so I could round up my favorites in each category for you all. I included my top picks under my drop down category, but wanted my very favs in each category for you all in a blog post to shop, too. Today, I’m breaking down the 2019 Nordstrom Sale by category.

Almost all of the accessories you buy during the sale can be worn now AND later, so you’ll get great CPW (cost per wear) out of all of them. I love to find nice sunnies to snag during the sale because you save so much on them!

I always find myself needing to stock up on activewear this time of year to help me kick my booty back into shape after all the summer vacation time. New workout sneakers were essential for me right now so that is the first thing I was looking for! There are so many great leggings, too.

This is the time of year I stock up on so many beauty goodies. I always buy my perfume (the YSL one is my fav.. I wore it on my wedding day & always get stopped asking what I am wearing), my Neulash, & my oribe during this time. I end up getting so much it lasts me the whole year & I save a ton doing it this way! There are so many good make up palettes, too. Several hair tools I use are also on sale.

I know for some it’s so hard to think about buying outerwear when it’s in the midst of summer, but you can get such great deals that it’s hard for me to pass up. Of course, you can style blazers now for work or play (I love them styled with shorts). I love buying jackets or coats now that I know I’ll wear a ton come fall & winter!

I can’t help myself but stock up on shoes during the sale. Booties are probably my favorite shoes to buy ever & there are so many good ones! Several come in a lot of different colors. There are a lot of good work friendly flats & sneakers, too!

I am alllll about saving on home decor since we’re still in the middle of decorating our first home. There are so many incredible deals from my favorite every day candles, to kitchen supplies, to bedding & towels. No matter what you need for your home, there is something on sale for you!

I swear this is the only time my husband buys clothes! Haha he’s been saying for five months he needs new work shirts, jeans, & shoes but that he would ‘wait until the Nordstrom sale.’ There are SO many good deals for the guys in your life during this sale.

I hope that my 2019 Nordstrom Sale by category post was helpful for you when navigating the sale. Honestly, I shop it all up front & then return what doesn’t work later. That is just what works for me & I prefer to try things on at home! If you’re unsure on sizing, I recommend ordering two & sending one back. A lot of things sell out quickly & aren’t always restocked so if you really love something, better safe than sorry. I shop the sale several times throughout it, so don’t feel like today is your only chance!
