I can’t count how many times during pregnancy I said was so excited to wear jeans again after baby. Sizing for jeans is tricky at any time, but especially postpartum. I think ‘what size are you wearing?’ is my most asked question in reference to jeans that I share. AGOLDE is one of my favorite denim brands & their sizing can sometimes be difficult for me to figure out. I know you all feel the same, so I thought it would be helpful to do an AGOLDE jean fit comparison.
AGOLDE jean fit comparison
I shared some of my AGOLDE jeans fit comparison content on stories last week during the final days of the Shopbop sale event. In an effort to keep my stories from being too long, I had more to share that didn’t make it up that I wanted to put here on the blog. I also know it can be much easier to reference information here! As I inevitably add new pairs of AGOLDE jeans to my collection (which I just ordered a few new ones from Shopbop last week), I’ll add in info about those as well!
Jeans obviously look different from every angle & with different shoes, so I’m sharing different views & shoes with each pair below. They also look different on every body type, so I will share that I am 5’6” with a long torso & shorter legs. I am also 11 weeks postpartum while I share this & still have a few pounds & a lot of toning to go to be back to where I was before baby. My true size prior to baby was a size 25, so that is what most of the jeans are. I’m sharing all of that so you can have a frame of reference for sizing for yourself!
Nico HIGH RISE SLIM FIT
These are one of my most worn pairs of AGOLDE jeans. I love the simple distressing on the knee, but they have options with no distressing as well. I’ve decided after this round up that I need another pair of these in a different wash!
Above is three different views of the jeans to give you a better idea of the overall fit & below I have them styled with sneakers & booties as well. One of the reasons I love this pair so much is because they look great with all styles of shoes. Depending on the boot I’m wearing, I also sometimes roll up the bottom of the hem.

Nico HIGH RISE
These are similar to the pair above, but as the differences in the names suggest, this one is not as much of a slim fit. They have more stretch to them than the pair above, too. This particular pair has a pretty dramatic raw hem, but there are versions of this style that have a regular hem as well. These are probably my second most worn pair.
Again, I’ve got three different views of the jeans above to give you a better idea of the overall fit styled with heels. Below I have them styled with sneakers & booties as well. This pair is a go to pair because they are so comfortable due to the stretch they have. I personally tend to prefer these styled with heels or sneakers over booties.

Riley HIGH RISE STRAIGHT CROP
This is my newest pair of AGOLDE jeans. I’m wearing a size up here because I bought them early on postpartum as a transitional jean, but down the road I think my true size would be better. The distressing on the knees makes these a little more casual & the non-skinny cut makes them on trend.
You’ve got three different views in heels above & also a glimpse at how they look styled with sneakers & booties below. This is a pair that I love styled with all shoes. The crop length shows just a bit of my ankles, which hits nicely with booties.

Toni MID RISE SLIM
These are the only pair of mid rise jeans I’m sharing. They have a good amount of stretch to them, otherwise I’m not sure they would work right now postpartum, as right in the middle of my stomach is where I’ve still got the most work to do. They have a cropped length, but on my short legs they hit at the perfect spot.
I love how these look with heels, sneakers, & boots. You’ve got all three views above with heels & then the other two style of shoes below to give you an idea of how they look with each. These don’t have any distressing & have a good amount of stretch, but I think I personally gravitate towards high rise more often. However, it’s always good to have a go to mid rise pair in your closet & these are it for me.

Roxanne SUPER HIGH RISE SKINNY
This is definitely the most skinny pair I have & they are super high rise. I’d call these the nicest jean of the group here due to no distressing & the darker wash. These are considered a super stretch pair, so you can size down a pair, especially if you like your jeans really fitted. For a skinny pair, I tend to like them to be pretty fitted. These are perfect to wear with a chunky, oversized sweater in the Fall & Winter.
This is another pair I love styled with any shoes, but sine I do have shorter legs, I will sometimes cuff or roll up the hem when wearing them with certain booties or higher top sneakers.

Parker DENIM SHORTS
These denim shorts are what first turned me on to the AGOLDE brand. They are one of the best pairs I’ve ever owned. I own several of them & have them in different sizes depending on how I’m feeling or the top I’m wearing with them. I just have the one view below of them for now, but will work on getting more pics of them styled with different shoes.

I hope this AGOLDE jean fit comparison is helpful if you’re buying a new pair of jeans! I ordered a few new pairs recently, so I will add them in here once I get them in & have a better idea of the fit. Also, if this is helpful, I will work on these roundups for more of my favorite denim brands including Abercrombie, Citizens of Humanity, Good American, & Levis. As always, let me know if there is anything in particular you all are shopping for that I can help with! XO
