All Day Lingerie

Today I’m talking the all day lingerie trend with Shopbop. You have may have noticed this trend catching speed over the past several months. First, we saw slip dresses taking over (you can see how I’ve styled them here and here). A classic, gorgeous cami is always in style, but there have been more and more silk styles showing up with lace trim. This trend can be so sexy, yet unrefined when done right. Whitney from Whit’s Whims, Jaclyn from My View in Heels, and myself teamed up with Shopbop to show you three ways to wear this trend.

For this shoot, we met at a precious little spot for brunch on a Sunday morning. If you’re ever in Dallas, Mercat Bistro is such a cute spot! It’s like a little Parisian cafe. We shot this when Paris fashion week was going on so we were laughing that this was our little version. We had a ton of pastries, cheese, some truffle fries, and lots of mimosas. It was so much fun! I meannn just look at this photo below. One thing I love so much about blogging is all of the amazing women I have met through this. Whether it’s other bloggers, photographers, or brand reps- I am so thankful for all the supportive women I have met who I can continue to get to know. I love that it has brought me to so many people I would have otherwise never met. Both of these girls are amazing and I loved spending time with them!

My look is the most simple and is a classic nude lace cami paired with a great pair of jeans. I added a classic black pump and a gorgeous pair of statement earrings. I carried my go-to leather moto jacket for when it got cooler, too. These high-waisted “mom” jeans have been my absolute favorite since I got them. I think they are so flattering and comfortable!

Jaclyn’s look is a business-turned happy hour look. These pants are so beautiful! You could throw a blazer over this look to wear it to work, or wear it with this trench as she did, then take either jacket off for happy hour or date night.

Shop Jacyln’s look:

Whitney’s look is the dressiest, as she paired a gorgeous silk dress with lace trim with heels and a beautiful sheer button down. She wore the button down open and tied to make it more of a jacket, which I loved.

Can we talk about these bags, too? I went with a classic black envelope clutch, but they both chose these fun floral bags for Spring! I’m so in love with this style. I am majorly eyeing an all white version of Jaclyn’s bag. Like, it’s in my cart and I just have to pull the trigger. How perfect would it be for Spring and Summer?! Especially in all white for a bride-to-be like myself.

Shopbop also has some fun other trend idea for Spring on their site including tailor made, pretty in pink, new romantics, and modern americana. Be sure to check them all out on their site under ‘Spring Trends.’

You all probably saw all of my SXSW pictures over the weekend in Austin on Instagram. I went with two other blogger friends and we had SUCH a fun weekend. We basically ate and drank our way through the city and I feel like I waddled out of there. It may have just totally evened out my cleanse. But, whatever. #yolo I’ll de a recap on that trip and share some of my travel suggestions for Austin, soon so stay tuned. When I got home yesterday afternoon it was sunny and 80 degrees so my fiancé and I had date night on the rooftop of one of our go-to restaurants while watching Arkansas play (and lose) in the March Madness tournament. I go back to work today after a week off, so I’ll surely have a case of the Mondays. I’m going to cure it by forcing myself to looking forward to a workout and a long walk in the beautiful weather with my pup. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that your week gets off to a great start! XO
