Do anywhere leg workout

Do anywhere leg workout via A Lo ProfileOne of the biggest excuses I find for skipping a workout is travel. I may be staying somewhere that doesn’t have a gym or my schedule is pretty packed. Having a work out that I can do quickly and efficiently with little to no equipment is important to help this not be an issue. To help you, I’m sharing a do anywhere leg workout.

This outfit is from Bandier— which I posted about here. Just like I wouldn’t wear stiletto heels while walking around sight seeing in NYC, I wouldn’t wear certain workout gear to do particular workouts. Some of my outfits are better suited for yoga or stretching. Others, for spin. And some for HIIT like jump squats. This outfit is very versatile and I’ve been able to wear it while doing any of the aforementioned. I need a supportive sports bra to hold everything in place, and I had no problem with this one!

I’ve done Kayla Itsine’s Bikini Body Guide on and off for almost a year now. I first heard of it from a friend while in Brazil and once I tried it, I was hooked. I love how quick the workouts are and how I finish them drenched in sweat. This workout is inspired by the circuits done in her workouts and include some of my favorite no-equipment-needed exercises. This combines both cardio and leg focused workouts, but adds in a little for the arms and abs, too.Do anywhere leg workout via A Lo Profile

Do each of the exercises below to complete a circuit. Do at least 3 circuits with small breaks in between each one. Time yourself each time and compare your times + monitor your progress as you do this weekly! It’s so motivating to see your progress with good data you keep.

  • 15 double pulse jump squats
  • 15 burpees + pushups
  • 30 step ups
  • 30 walking lunges
  • 50 jumping jacks
  • 30 reverse lunge + knee lifts
  • 1 min plank

*For step ups, use a chair or park bench. If you have dumbbells or weights available, add them to your step ups and lunges for an added challenge.

Don’t forget to stretch it out when you’re finished and to eat your protein! It’ so important that you are giving your body  protein it needs when working out to build muscle and burn fat, stay full, and keep those energy levels up. One of my favorite ways to get protein in is through a bar. I find that so many of them out there are filled with tons of CRAP that I don’t want to eat. These bars by G2G have been such a good find! G2G stands for Good 2 Go and the bars are whole food bars that have all natural organic ingredients with no preservatives or processed “junk.” They are really delicious on their own or on top of a smoothie bowl (stayed tuned for a recipe I use them with). **If you want to try some– use my coupon code ‘Lauren’ to get 20% off of your order!**
