We made it through Monday. Yesterday was my first Monday back at work since mid-June. It was a crazy one, too. Today, I wanted to share an Instagram roundup of some of my favorite looks. I’ve been sharing so much from our wedding and our travels this Summer that these outfits had not made it onto the blog yet. I love them all too much not to share, so here is an August Instagram roundup featuring some of my favorite looks so far this month.
This is one of strangest times of year for me when it comes to shopping and getting dressed. All that is on my mind is Fall, but then I step outside and I just want to be in a swimsuit by the pool. The struggle in August in Texas is real, y’all.

I seriously love this jumpsuit. The vertical stripes make it elongating and the open back gives it a fun, flirty touch. It looks great with a jacket over it, too. The legs are split open which gives it an extra little drama factor. I love all the colors in it, but played off the white in it with my purse and paired it with these block heels that I’ve been living in.

The oversized fit of this blazer makes it so laid back, but still chic. I love the subtle pinstripe detail on this navy one. It comes in several other colors, too. I wanted to show how you can wear your white jeans into Fall by pairing them with darker colors. These are hands down my favorite pair. They are so comfortable! I got these pumps last year and they have been restocked this year. They are under $100, come in several colors, and are legit the most comfortable pair of pumps I own.

I added this military style jacket to my cart the second I came across it. I love the subtle detail on it and relaxed fit. The weight and sleeve length makes it the perfect transitional jacket! I kept it simple with a white tank and jean shorts, but then dressed it up with a pair of heels. A classic pair of sunnies like these round ones are the perfect match for a military jacket.

Few things are more classic, particularly for work, than a black sheath dress and a trench coat. I love this look. You can style an outfit like this time and time again by updating your accessories. I dressed it up with gold earrings. These sunnies are my most recent purchase and I love them. They are so classic and will be in style for years to come.

You can’t ever go wrong with a sweatshirt dress. I loved the off the shoulder style of this one! I keep buying them when I find one I like, because I get so much wear out of them. I kept it casual with these metallic sneakers. They come in a few other colors and the suede + leather combo on them is perfect for Fall. I got these earrings in a few weeks ago and was dying to wear them, so I threw them on with this for a fun touch. If you haven’t scored a backpack yet, see my post here and add one to your accessories collection ASAP. I get so much good use out of this one and you can convert it into a cross body or carry it as a top handle as I did here.

Burgundy or wine is the color of Fall in my book. It’s so rich and I think it looks great on every skin tone. The sleeve detail on this mini dress was too good to pass up. I matched my clutch to my heels and added a statement earring to make this a more dressy look. To keep it a little more casual, I would also pair this dress with a bootie and a satchel.

Isn’t this white dress adorable?! I’m obsessed. It’s on the feminine side for me with the floral and ruffle detail, so I added a little edge with a black moto jacket with gold detailing. This jacket is vegan leather and is such a steal. It comes in a few colors and you’ll get so much use out of it in the Fall and Winter. I played off the gold detail in the jacket by adding this clutch, which I’m obsessed with! I love that it fits so much and is so easy to carry and keep up with.

I die for this faux leather midi skirt. It is seriously the perfect piece for work. I wanted to show it here as I would wear it after work to grab a cocktail with the girls. You could wear this tank tucked in with a blazer or sweater over it at the office, then lose the jacket and tie it up afterwards. I kept the colors simple and added a gold statement earring.
I would love to know if you all like seeing all my outfits from Instagram rounded up here with more details about them! Leave me a comment, send me a DM on Instagram, or send me an e-mail. I love hearing from all of you! Hopefully you are all having a great week so far. XO
