I love all things menswear. I am always a fan, but I’m really loving that its trending right now because it means it’s more readily available. Somethings dressing up mens clothing makes me feel extra chic. I wanted this boss babe blazer to be a good going out or date night outfit, so I dressed it up and only wore a lacy bralette underneath. I wore a black one, but a maroon, red, or even white one would also look amazing peaking out. This one is hands down my favorite. Today, I’m talking about the menswear trend. I’ve also styled this blazer with sneakers and I love the fun, casual twist it puts on the look. You can wear this blazer buttoned up as I did here or style it undone with your favorite tshirt underneath for a day time look. For night, you could put a gorgeous lace cami (like this one or this one) underneath.

I am so obsessed with the gingham blazer (and the price) that I just added it to my cart! Too cute for Spring. If you’re dressing down any of the blazer dresses, just pair them with sneakers or a casual flat sandal. I think the key to menswear is to stick to one statement piece. I wouldn’t pair a menswear blazer with a menswear inspired shoe. I’d put on a more feminine blazer if pairing it with a menswear shoe.

Can we take a hot second to focus on the detailing of these shoes?! I got them in the day before I shot this look and it was freezing outside and I didn’t care. I love them!! The laser cut and pearl embellished details are just so good. They also come in a pump version that are so beautiful. They come in a few colors! I paired them with my go to clutch. I love it because its simple, chic and is in style season after season. I’ve had this one for a few years and they keep making it because it’s so great! It’s under $100 and comes in a ton of colors. It’s practical not just for the price, but because it can actually hold a decent amount of stuff for a night out!

Are you off work today for President’s Day? Unfortunately, I am not. The kids don’t have to come to school today, but the teachers have professional development. AKA I lock myself in my office and catch up on Psych reports and paperwork. I hit some of these up over the weekend and scored some majorly cute things on sale! My weekend was pretty darn chill and I loved it. We ordered in Thai on Friday, continued our Mad Men binge on Netflix, and ate some leftover VDay cupcakes before going to bed by 10:00. On Saturday we got up and worked out then went to brunch with another one of our couple friends. I love Saturdays where I get in a good workout first thing and then feel great and have the rest of my day to relax. I ran a few errands in the afternoon and hung around the house that night. Yesterday was a rainy morning so we slept in, then made a weekly Whole Foods run, and hung on the couch. Once the rain stopped I got in some blog photos in the afternoon and then we cooked dinner and watched Dirty Money. It’s a really good docu-series on Netflix. Super Interesting and addicting to watch! I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend!! XO
