Bright dress, big city

Summer is such a great excuse to bust out the bright colors. Especially when you’re a neutral lover, like myself. One of my good friends in college always told me she loved when I wore orange because of my coloring. Even though I haven’t built up any sort of tan yet, this dress still makes me feel summer-ready. Orange also happens to be my man-friend’s favorite color. This look: bright dress, big city is perfect for a summer night out. I shot this look in front of a classic theatre in Dallas and think it’d be perfect for a dinner date followed by a show or concert. These shoes were a recent purchase and I adore them. I was hesitant when I first put them on because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to walk easily, but tightening the straps around the ankle did the trip and I am now obsessed. I keep planning outfits around them or find myself putting them on as the perfect finishing touch. 

If you’re feeling as ready for summer as I am, then this dress and bright white shoes are the perfect addition to your closet to get you ready. I know I’ll be dressing this dress down with sneakers and maybe a denim shirt/jacket tied around my waist, too.

Anndd of course, the earrings. These are called the ‘Cinderella drops’ and they basically go with everything. The clear/mirrored back and jewels dress up any outfit.
