I’m definitely one who loves neutrals and I find myself wearing them so much this time of year. It’s a little grey and gloomy outside, so I tend to blend into my surroundings. I wear red (see more here) and burgundy a lot, but sometimes i like throwing in other colors to brighten up these otherwise gloomy days. One of my favorite ways to do this is with colored leather.
When I say colored leather, I don’t mean a lime green leather jacket over here. I instead, mean colors outside of the usual black or cognac or even grey. A subtle addition of color can do a lot for a look, and I think that leather jackets are one of the best CPW (cost per wear) friendly pieces you can buy.
I saw this light blue jacket and kind of died over it. I love all thing denim and I felt like it was a ‘denim blue.’ Its such a rich, buttery texture and is a really good weight. I love it paired with white or with black underneath. It looks great dressed up over a LBD or dressed down with sneakers. Its a little more of a splurge, but the quality makes it worth it! I paired it with this fun little pom bag, which I think is perfect for this time of year. The pom handle is removable, so you can wear this bag with or without the poms. I kept the look classic with a pair of pumps and these sunnies, which are one of my favorite pairs of all time. I love the edge they add to any look!
There are so many fun ones from red to burgundy to white or dark/army green and I’m rounding up all of my favorites for you all to shop below!

If you all follow me on Instagram and watch my stories (if you don’t, you can here) then you may have seen a big change for me yesterday! I finally decided to chop my hair! I put up a poll about it a few weeks ago after toying with the idea for a few months and the results said “just go for it.” Yesterday, I decided to! I can’t wait to share more of it with you all, soon. There is a lot of pressure we put on ourselves as women and sometimes the fear of change, particularly with our appearance, can be daunting, so this felt like a big decision for me after about fifteen years of super long hair. I’ll share more about my decision to cut it with you all, soon! I have just two more days of blissful time away from work and I am soaking it all up. I am working out with my favorite trainer in the later-morning so I can sleep in, run some errands, and get all my blog work done in time for a fun girls dinner! Next week back at work is gonna be rough!! Hope you’re all having a fabulous first week of the new year! XO
