‘Never too much denim’ could be one of my top fashion mantras. I love denim in just about any clothing item, accessory, wash, or style. Denim dresses are one of the easiest little outfits for me. There are endless possibilities with how you can accessorize a denim dress. Whether it’s adding a statement shoe, as I did here, putting a leather jacket over it in the cooler months, or dressing it down while running errands, the possibilities seem endless to me.
I love dressing up my denim. I think pairing denim with heels and a bold lip is such a fun way to add a little drama to such a classic clothing item. I went with red, because I love the way denim and red look together. Classic denim, a white t-shirt, and a red lip is one of my fav outfit combos! Another fun way to dress up your denim? Statement jewelry. Imagine a gorgeous necklace like this one or this one paired with this denim dress. If you prefer statement earrings, these would also look awesome.
Besides this dress having pockets, the other amazing thing is the price. It’s under $60! Which is probably why it is almooost sold out. If you didn’t have a chance to grab it when I posted it before on Instagram, no worries! I am including a few of my other favorites under $100 for you below. Hold on just a little longer for the weekend my friends! I’m excited for another relatively calm weekend. On Saturday, I’ll be going to a dress fitting with my mom, helping her decide on a mother of the bride dress, and choosing a veil. I also have a blog shoot that afternoon, but otherwise, hope to lay pretty low. I felt so much less stressed this week after a productive, sleep-filled weekend. I leave town the following Thursday for a long girls weekend, so I know I’ll have a lot to do before then! Being productive on my weekends and getting blog posts written, photos taken, content planed, errands run, the house cleaned, and meals prepped makes my entire week seem easier! My fiancé starts a new job next week, so I’m sure that will make for a busy week, too. What do you look forward to on the weekends? Plans or productivity? I wish I could pick just one, but I find my best weekends are a combination of both! Anyways, thanks for stopping by and be sure to come by again tomorrow for a new Friday Favorites post! And let me know if there is something specific you’d like to see for that series in the weeks to come. I love hearing from you all! XO
