With sweater season in full swing and layering season upon us, that also means that my denim gets even more use. It really is too hot many days to wear jeans in Texas during the warmer months unless you’ll be spending almost all of your day inside. Jeans are one of my favorite things to wear (I borderline collect denim) so I absolutely love this time of year. We’ll talk about investment denim later, but today I wanted to talk about budget-friendly denim. These pieces get so much good use and your CPW (cost-per-wear) ends up being so amazing. Whether you’re buying a go-to classic pair, trying a new silhouette, or going the trendy route, you can’t go wrong with denim in this price point. Today, I’m talking about about f/w denim under $100 and sharing my favorites in each category for you to help make sure you find your perfect pair (or two or three) for all of our jeans weather ahead in the months to come.

When I shop for denim, I love doing it at stores that carry tons of brands and styles. It just increases my chances of finding the perfect pair! My go to store for denim is Nordstrom. I love ordering online and then picking up in store. If something doesn’t fit right, its so easy to take back  or exchange for another size. In the case that I suspect I may need to size up or down in a pair, I’ll order two sizes and then choose whichever one fits better. I’ll be sharing all of my favorite splurge-worthy picks with you soon. I love buying denim in all price ranges, because I know it will end up getting great use, and focus mainly on the fit and style. If you haven’t given the boyfriend denim a try yet, consider one of these budget-friendly options as a starting point! That way you can figure out how to best style them and get used to them. I was so unsure of how they’d look on me at first and now I absolutely love my boyfriend denim. I tend to have to size down in them, so consider that if its the first time you’re buying them!

Let’s talk a little about the rest of my outfit! Jeans and a t-shirt is my go to look, but I wanted to add a little bit of Fall with this sweater and my fun booties. These booties are the most amazing, rich, dark purple and I am obsessed. They come in eight colors and are so darn comfortable. I didn’t want the purple to be totally random, so I matched some  purple statement earrings to them. This v-neck tshirt is one that I own in almost each of the six colors it comes in. Its only $25 and is the perfect, thin material. If you buy two or more, you save on them, so it’s the perfect excuse to stock up. My sweater is so cozy and comes in TEN colors. It’s one of those pieces that you’ll wear countless times. I love it styled over a sweater dress and its not too thick where you can’t layer a jacket over it. I love the tie detail on the sleeve! Finally, my bag and my sunnies are two of my go-to when I’m wearing black. Both such great investment pieces you’ll wear for years to come!
