Hands down my favorite fashion trend I’m seeing right now is embroidery. When done right in a subtle way, it adds the perfect little something to classic pieces. On this striped shirt it helps it be a perfect transition piece for Spring. On jeans, it’s the perfect way to add a little color that you can tie in through the rest of your outfits with shoes. There are even some amazing embroidered bags and shoes I’m seeing right now, too. I think a key to this trend is that you don’t do too much of it. It’s supposed to be subtle. I wouldn’t go pairing an embroidered jean with a shoe and a bag.

Embroidery can definitely be done wrong, too. You don’t want to look like you dug something out of your grandmother’s closet that should have been given away decades ago. Florals are my personal favorite for embroidery, but I’ve also seen some stars that I have loved, too. If you’re following me on Instagram and watch my stories, then you know that last night was my end of Whole 30 celebration. I already did my reintroduction phase when I did it the first few times, so now I just celebrate and then try to get back to being good. Charles had work obligations and wasn’t able to join me, so I made it a girls night. He was so sweet and had a bottle of wine waiting at our table for us when we arrived to celebrate! He is such a supporter through all my Whole 30’s (and everything I do) which really leads to my success. I went to dinner with two blogger friends and we had wine and shared a few pastas and dessert. It was so good! I definitely did not sleep as well last night as I have been though. Hence me up oh so early adding my last night’s details to this post. It’s funny that a lot of people say wine helps you sleep. Last night was proof that it interrupts my baby-like slumber. I’m looking forward to lots of water and healthy food today and tomorrow! PS: If you’re ever in Dallas, you’ve got to go to Sprezza. It’s my favorite Italian spot! My friends had never been and they loved it, too. I hope all of you who finished your Whole 30’s either celebrated or successfully started your reintroduction. XO
