I took a recent inventory of my closet & after evaluating the trends I’m on board for this year, decided on some Fall closet essentials I thought I needed. I placed a big online order of affordable pieces to try, so I figured I’d try them on for you all & share them in case you are looking for some new pieces or ways to update your wardrobe without busting your budget.
Fall CLOSET ESSENTIALS
I’m rounding up some Fall closet essentials below. Many of these are classics (like plaid), but some are more on trend for this season (like crops). Everything I’m sharing in today’s post are affordable finds from Forever 21. If you have not shopped at F21 lately, hear me when I say that they are crushing it. I have found so many good wardrobe pieces that I love & I am always floored by the prices! They have so many good site wide sales on the reg making them even more affordable. No matter what you are shopping for, they have TONS of options, which I love. I needed some new plaid flannels & when I searched on their site I found pages of great options. A girl needs options, ya know?! I’m including some styled options featuring Fall closet essentials from F21 below including sizing options below.

Plaid, for Fall? Groundbreaking. But, really you can’t go wrong. There are SO many ways to incorporate plaid into your wardrobe from making it a statement piece or a classic flannel tied around your waist.

Jumpsuits are a one hit wonder. I love them because you can so often dress them down with sneakers for day time or dress them up with heels. They look great layered under denim jackets, blazers, moto jackets, or even cardigans!

CROPS
While crop tops trending may make you cringe (I feel ya, I’m just 2 months postpartum over here), hear me out. Crops are definitely in style this fall, but they are trending with high waisted bottoms so you aren’t fully on display with your stomach like Britney in the early 2000s. Pairing a jacket over them, especially one like an oversized blazer, is the on trend way to style them that I can get behind.

KNITS
