I’m reaaalllyy trying to stay positive about Monday after such a great weekend. More on that later, but in the mean time, this holiday party dress is helping brighten my day though! I have a very busy week ahead with several holiday parties and events, so I tried to be as productive as possible yesterday. I also ordered a few more party dresses for events and found fifteen others I wanted to share with you all! Those are included towards the end of this post. This dress comes in three colors and is seriously so flattering and versatile. It looks great with over-the-knee boots and is really fun to layer with. I scored it from Nordstrom in one of my many order online and pick up in store purchases. This service is always my favorite so I can try stuff on in the comfort of my own home when I’m in the mood, but it especially is this time of year. The crowds are insane at the mall and I do everything I can to avoid them! Nordstrom even has an option where a courier service can bring your order to you at your house the same day for an extra fee if you really don’t have time to swing by the mall and do either in-store pick up or curbside pickup. There are so many great options to help make holiday shopping easier!

They styled this little green party dress online with this adorable mesh top under it, but I layered a metallic bralette underneath. This exact one is old, but I linked a super similar option and also found this one, which is a little more budget friendly. I let my dress be the statement and kept my accessories black and gold, so they were classic yet festive.

I love emerald green for this time of year, so I wanted to share a few other options in this color I found with you all. On Friday after work, I went to get a mani/pedi at my favorite little spot in Dallas, Bellacures. Then, I met a girlfriend for Happy Hour and an early dinner at The Honor Bar in Highland Park Village. If you ever find yourself in Dallas around the holidays, be sure to go by HP Village, because the Christmas lights that fill every inch of the trees there are magical! It’s one of my favorite spots around the holidays. They also have carriage rides from there that take you around to look at Christmas lights. I was so exhausted from the week (I’ve been working on overload with all the holidays approaching) that I curled up in bed and watched The Holiday and was asleep before 9:30 which was amazing. I slept in the next day and then we went to brunch, took Maddie to the dog park, and ran some errands before hanging on the couch and watching Christmas movies. We met one of our couple friends for dinner at Gemma and then went out for a bit to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Yesterday was a productive day, as I was able to go to the grocery store and get caught up on some blog work. But, we also relaxed on the couch, watched The Cowboys game and some Christmas movies, and cooked dinner. Weekends like this that are the perfect mixture of fun, productivity, and rest are my favorite!! I hope you all had an amazing weekend, too. XO
