Jackets are one of my favorite things to buy. I never mind investing in them because there are so many ways to wear them that the cpw (cost-per-wear) is always worth it. I saw this jacket and tried it on immediately. I LOVE me some black leather and black lace so this is basically a dream come true jacket for me. It’s super versatile, which I love. Dress it up with a skirt or dress, wear it with heels or sneakers. Your options are endless. The thing is, this isn’t even a badly priced jacket, especially for the quality. I think if it came in other colors I’d buy them all. I threw it on over a grey long-sleeve t-shirt and paired it with classic pumps for an effortless outfit.

I snagged these sunglasses while purchasing this jacket and a few other things as a last minute thought. I’ve been loving mirrored sunnies and loved the detail on these. The fact that they were blue made me love them even more. Plus, they are a steal. Like, really. Their a great dupe of this pair of Dior sunnies I’ve been crushing on for awhile but at such a better price point. Hopefully these hold me over until I can snag the real deal.

I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! Mine was great. I finally started feeling better after being sick and on Saturday was able to go out and celebrate the birthday of a dear friend. While I couldn’t fully partake in all the festivities, I was out as long as I could be before coming home to snuggle up with my puppy and a few good movies. My fiancé is in the midst of his busy season which means working til midnight many week nights and working a full day on Saturdays. When he is finished working, he is usually ready for some fun. So, we were able to be out together for a few hours and then I took dog duty so he could stay out and have fun. My Sunday was oh-so-well spent. I got to sleep in, did some grocery shopping, ran errands, and caught up on some blog work. We also (almost) finalized our wedding invitations (stay tuned!) and our registries. So exciting!! Hope that your Monday is off to a great start.

For all of you doing a January Whole 30.. I hope you are so excited to be on the true downward slope with just 9 days left. I definitely felt the ‘interlude’ “I’m so over this” phase a few times this weekend but tried to just take everything a meal at a time. That always helps me power through! Keep at it, you’re almost there.
