Go Native

Sharing why I decided to go Native by switching to Native natural deodorant and now why I am loving Native natural bodywash and soap.

If you’ve been following me for awhile, then you know how important natural products are to me. I definitely still have room to grow when it comes to switching some products, mostly make up, but when it comes to cleaning and beauty products, I am extremely cautious of what I use. I think it’s extremely important to make a conscious effort to use things that are safe, so today I am sharing one of my favorite brands for natural products and why I decided to go Native. I’m also sharing a discount code at the end of the post!

KEEP IT NATURAL

There are a lot of mixed reviews when it comes to natural products and their importance. I say you have to do you. It’s important to me to know what is in the products I use. If there is even the slightest chance that some ingredients could be harmful to me or my family, then I don’t want to use them. There has been information that aluminum in deodorants is linked to breast cancer and Alzheimer’s, which my grandmother suffered from. Because of this, I vowed to switch to natural deodorant that is aluminum free. After trying several with no luck of the right fit for me, I finally found Native. I’ve been using Native deodorant for months now and absolutely love it.

Native‘s deodorant has over 5,000 five star reviews online. I found myself needing to go through a detox for a few weeks when I made the switch to go natural. Native uses ingredients you know to neutralize odors (baking soda) and absorb moisture (arrowroot powder) so you can feel confident about what you’re putting on your body. Not only is it aluminum free, but it also has no parabens, phthalates, or sulfates. I still sweat, it just doesn’t smell bad! They make it for women and men. Plus, they also have a sensitive line. The coconut and vanilla scent is my personal favorite.

MORE THAN DEODORANT

I fell so in love with Native, that I actually reached out to them to tell them how big of a fan I was. I loved their deodorant so much that I was going to share it with you all anyways, so I asked if they wanted to collaborate! These really are the best sort of partnerships. Since I was already such a fan of Native’s deodorant, I was so excited to hear that they were launching body washes and soaps. I was able to try them before they officially launched so I’ve been using them for several weeks now. I love them just as much as their deodorant! Both the soaps and bodywashes are also free from parabens, phthalates, and sulfates

My favorite scent of soap and body wash is the coconut and vanilla and the lavender and rose. My husband loves the eucalyptus and mint. I always love taking a relaxing bubble bath with the lavender scent because it’s so calming! The best part about their products is they actually break down and tell you what is really in them. Instead of using all the scientific names that can be difficult to decipher, they put the layman term names of each ingredient. I love this because it shows there is nothing to hide!
