Nordstrom Sale 2018 Public Access -

Happy public access day! It’s finally the time where anywhere can shop the 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. For the last week or so it’s only been open for Nordstrom card holders, but now its open to the public until August 6th! That means that if you’ve been seeing cute Fall clothes and good basics all over the Internet and social media, you can finally snag those items before the prices go up. Today, I’m rounding up some of my looks that I’ve styled so far and sharing my top ten favorite purchases so far from the sale.

BEST THINGS TO BUY FROM THE 2018 NORDSTROM SALE

BOOTIES

This pair of booties was one of the first things I picked out in the catalog that I wanted. I bought a pair of white booties last year and wore THEM so much, so I wanted another pair this year. I love the shape of these and especially love the heel. They come in five colors (they also come in leopard.. adorable!) and are cute with everything from jeans, to dresses, and even shorts until it really cools off! This is really a pair of year round shoes that you’ll get so much good use out of. They run true to size. I think these are hands down my favorite purchase, which is a bold statement!

Marc Fisher also did this pair of flat booties that I bought. They come in four colors, but I got them in the white. Keep scrolling to see how I styled them! I love white booties.. sorry, not sorry. This is another pair by them on sale that is so cute and would go with basically everything.

I also got a pair of amazing suede booties. I got them in black, but borrowed the tan from my friends (keep scrolling to see them styled) and think I have to order those now. I love the heel height because you can wear it day or night and they seriously go with everything. I’m so obsessed! Be sure to check out all of my favorite boot picks from the sale!

DENIM

There are SO many good pairs of jeans on the sale this year. While there are a ton of budget friendly jeans, I honestly prefer to snag my designer denim during the sale because I save so much by doing it. I got a few pairs, but my favorite brand name ones were my AG distressed jeans, my Mother crop jeans, and my Paige black jeans.

Good ole’ AG jeans, y’all. I got a pair of non-distressed AG jeans last year on the sale and wore them too many times to count, so I knew I needed another pair of AG jeans this year. They fit so freaking well, they are just too good to pass up. My husband is a big fan of their jeans for men, too. I snagged this adorable pair of distressed AG jeans this year and absolutely love them! They fit true to size and are the perfect color wash in my opinion.

Mother is one of my favorite brands of jeans and I love this pair that I got by them. They fit true to size. I love these both dressed up or down. I love the raw hem with sneakers or a relaxed look or think that the crop is a perfect excuse to show off a cute shoe!

Finally, from designer denim, is Paige. A tride and true favorite, these always fit so well! I got a classic black pair of Paige jeans with a raw hem. I can wear colored non-distressed denim to work throughout the week, so I love to stock up on black skinnies because I wear them at least twice a week!

Budget-friendly denim is honestly too good to pass up on the sale, too. I got a pair of grey Blank NYC skinny jeans that I know I’ll wear so much because I can also wear them to work. Plus, I just adore the color of them.

A good pair of black distressed jeans is always a must in the Fall and winter for me, so finding STS Blue distressed jeans on sale for under $40 was a no brainer purchase. There are too many good denim buys on the sale, so be sure to check out all of my top denim picks so you can find your favorite brand. They are likely included in the sale— almost all of my favorites were!

BLAZERS

I wear blazers both for work and play so often. I love how versatile they are! You can easily dress them up or down and where them in so many different settings. I get so much use out of all my blazers, so I rarely question purchasing them, but particularly when they are a good deal. I found SO many cute blazers this year on the sale.

EVERYDAY BASICS

It’s a must to stock up on your every day basics like t-shirts and easy tops when they are on sale. A few of my favorite purchases from the sale include a go to U-neck t-shirt in several colors, a classic lace trim cami in several colors, and tops that are great for layering. These are the purchases that you end up loving so much that you buy them in tons of colors.

Even a little twist on the classic every day pieces like a lace up ruffle cami or a cute lace trim tank are pieces that you’ll get so much good use out of layering over year round.

CARDIGANS

I live for good sweaters and cardigans are just so cozy, multi-functional, and end up being pieces that I wear so often. When you find a great cardigan, it’ll be your go to piece all through the fall and winter, so it will end up having amazing CPW (cost per wear).

There are so many amazing cardigans on the sale. Some are steals at under $35 and others, like a cashmere sweater, are a little bit more of an investment. Regardless, cardigans are definitely something to stock up on during the sale!

PULLOVERS

“No, it’s a cardigan but thanks for noticing!” Whether you call them pullovers, sweaters, or jumpers.. you need them from the sale. I style cardigans and pullovers so differently, so while I rounded up all of my favorite sweaters together, I think it’s important to stock up on both styles of sweaters during the sale. There are some amazing pullovers available this year!

ACTIVEWEAR

What we’d all probably live in if we could. We all need activewear, so may as well snag it while it’s on sale. I found a lot of good activewear pieces from the sale. Sizes sold quickly, so I only ended up with a few things, but I plan on snagging a few more as soon as they come in stock! New workout clothes motivate me to workout on days when I don’t feel like it or to work out harder other days. I also just love wearing it to run errands, to lounge around the house, or to travel.

MULES & SLIDES

I have been living in slides and am so glad mules are having such a moment. They are such a good, but cute daytime casual shoe. I love wearing them to work, when traveling, or even when going out to a more chill dinner.

I absolutely adore the leopard slides I got during the sale! My black mules are a steal and are so comfortable, too. Plus, they come in several colors. I I just got a new pair of white slides (styled above) before the sale, but this adorable pair similar to the ones I got that are on sale and come in a few colors.

JACKETS

I know that its hard to buy a jacket when its 100 degrees outside, but there are lots of great outerwear pieces available on the sale, too. You’ll definitely wear them in the months to come and you’ll be so glad to have snagged them at a deal!

BEAUTY

I did a very detailed best of beauty post, but I am highlighting it again here for you all, because there are too many good beauty buys to pass up. Seriously, so many things that I use on a daily and weekly basis and that I consider some of my must have products. I stocked up on so many things that I use throughout the year because the deals are almost too good to be true. Whether you’re in need of a new hair dryer, want to try a new lipstick, or need more perfume, there is seriously something for everyone from the beauty section of the sale! We all need things like sunscreen, right? May as well stock up now and save.
