Friday Favorites: Plaid Jackets Under $200

I keep finding plaid jacket or coats that I love, so today I wanted to style two of them for you and round up the cutest plaid jackets under $200 for this week’s Friday Favorites post. Plaid is one of my favorite patterns year round, but especially during the fall and winter. I love that I can take a patterned jacket and pair it with an all black outfit or a simple top and it feels more interesting. It’s such a great statement piece that you’ll get so much wear out of!

First up, lets talk this one with the red detail and the fun ruffle bell sleeve detail. I paired this one with a neutral layered tank dress. I loved that this one was knee length since the jacket was shorter. I styled it with white booties to play off the white details in the jacket. I matched my sunnies to it and went with a slight red lip to play off of the red in the jacket. I added a black belt over it to accentuate my waist a bit and reached for this black and gold bag, which is my new obsession.

Next up is this classic black and white coat. I wanted to wear this one with my flat over-the-knee boots, so I went with a shorter dress underneath. I put it over a simple black t-shirt tank dress that is one of the most comfortable things ever. If you watch my Instastories, then you saw it on there this week! It is the perfect piece to layer with and is an amazing price point for the quality. It runs true to size, but size up if you want a more relaxed fit. I added a classic black chain bag and sunnies.

Both of these jackets look amazing with jeans and a t-shirt, also. You can wear them with sneakers or block heel booties for a more casual look or dress them up with statement heels or high heel over-the-knee boots!

I am so relieved to have a weekend with minimal plans ahead! We were so busy last week with moving and getting organized that I am excited to have time to relax and have fun. I need to be somewhat productive, but I think I’ll reserve that for Saturday and enjoy myself otherwise! I’m loving these cool mornings and perfect afternoons right now, so time spent outside now that it finally has cooled off in Texas is a must! Whatever your weekend holds, I hope its wonderful! XO
