If you’re following along on Instagram, then you know that my husband and I just spent a long weekend in Santa Fe. Before we got there, we flew to Lubbock and rented a car to drive out to visit my grandmother on her ranch in South Eastern New Mexico. After spending some wonderful time with her, we road tripped up to Santa Fe. Along the way, we stopped at the Bottomless Lakes for a little bit. They aren’t far off the high way and were really cool to see. My Uncle recommended we go because he likes to visit there and go camping a few times a year.

Isn’t this dress so fun? It has a high slit in the front, too which makes it flow so nicely. It comes in a few patterns/colors. I loved dressing it down here with booties and making it a little edgier with a moto jacket. This is such a versatile dress! This print comes in a few other dress options and a top that are all adorable so I’ve linked all of those above for you, too.

I saw this top and knew I had to get it for this little trip. It also comes in a dress version! I think its such a fun, subtle print and I love the wrap detail because it makes it so much more comfortable to me. I topped off the look with my newest sunnies because they have a glitter edge that makes them so fun.
After the Bottomless Lakes, we continued on our road trip which led us to Roswell. You have to drive right through it, so we figured we may as well stop at a souvenir store and snag some funny alien stuff. From there, there isn’t much along the road but a few almost-deserted small towns, so we didn’t stop again until we reached our destination. We turned in our rental car and then checked into our adorable hotel. To see my full recap, check out my Santa Fe travel guide from earlier in the week. That is where I shared my recommendations for where to stay, where to eat, where to drink, and what to do! Today, I’m focusing on what I wore all throughout the trip in my Santa Fe outfit recap. I bought this denim jacket the second I saw it! I loved the military vibes of it. I’ve already worn it several times. I also loved playing up the Western trend while in Santa Fe, so I wore these pants with booties and topped off the look with a bandana tied around my neck. My also come in black! They look so cute dressed up with heels and a fun top for a night out or are so comfortable to throw on with sneakers for day time. They are under $50 and are so versatile!

I love a good black floral dress this time of year and this one is so easy to layer over! I threw a hat on with it to keep playing up the Western trend. Plus, it was pretty windy so this helped keep my hair in place the rest of the day. I paired white booties with this look to play off the white floral print on the dress. This is another dress that is so easily dressed up or down!

This easy dress is probably my favorite from the trip because I know I’m going to get so much use out of it. It is a super light weight jersey sweater material and is the comfiest thing! Its under $100 and also comes in white. I wore this to run errands the other day with sneakers and even love lounging around the house in it! I threw my new go to jacket over it and wore my OTK boots with it, which I was so happy to break back out for a few days.

Another easy, flowy dress. This one was great for towards the end of our trip after I had eaten my body weight in New Mexican food. I really liked the subtle ruffle detail on the bottom of the sleeve and the square neck. I belted it to accentuate my waist a little. It was still windy, so I topped it off with a hat and loved how it tied the look together to match the boots.

I’ve worn a version of this outfit so many times, but I still love it! Updating accessories makes it feel fresh. This cami top is a great deal and has the cutest button front detail. You’ll be seeing this jacket a ton coming up because I’m just obsessed. I wore it a few times on our Santa Fe trip and when I was in Austin for SXSW. I think I have like five denim jackets now, but they really are all different so I don’t care! haha

This tan jacket blended in perfectly with my surroundings in Santa Fe! It’s an oversized boyfriend fit, which I love. I wore my more splurge-worthy cami under this one because I liked that the lace added a little detail or pattern to the look. I styled this jacket over a dress the other day and loved it like that, too!
