We just got back from a wonderful long weekend in Scottsdale & I am feeling so rested & refreshed. I shared my Scottsdale travel guide earlier this week, but today I wanted to share my Scottsdale outfit recap & give you some ideas on what to wear in Scottsdale for your next trip!
SCOTTSDALE OUTFIT RECAP
It’s no secret that Scottsdale is hot, hot! The key for outfit planning here is easy, breezy style. We were focusing on R&R & having a lot of good food, so comfort was also important to me! I wanted flowy dresses, comfortable shoes, & effortless hair. Below I’m rounding up each look I shared from the trip with easy to click links that will take you directly to each item so you can shop.
Comfort is always the most important to me when traveling & looking cute is just a bonus. This romper is such a go to piece for this time of year because it’s easy, cute, & so affordable. I love it dressed up or down & for so may different occasions. It also comes in a few other colors! I’m wearing a size XS for reference. I got this new luggage shortly before this trip & was so excited to bring it with me. This brand is my favorite for cute & affordable luggage that lasts. These shoes are a great GG dupe for half the price. I’m wearing my true size in them!

I had to throw in a little ode to my husband on his birthday, which is why were in Scottsdale for a long weekend! I wore this dress that I share the full version of later down, but these closer up selfies give a better view of my accessories. I adore these layered necklaces! My exact evil eye necklace is from Casa Jaguar in Tulum, but I linked the most similar option I could find. My scrunchie hair scarf comes in A TON of colors & is only $12 for 3!

I bought this dress the second I saw it & was saving it for a fun vacation like this one. I adore it! The maxi version is also to die for (I linked it below). I think I need it, too. I dressed it up here with heels, but I love it dressed down with sneakers. It fits a little oversized– I’m in an XS for reference & would recommend sizing down if you’re between sizes. It comes in a few other colors, too!

I’m a big fan of smocked dresses because I think they are so flattering & this one is no exception. I loved that it was smocked on the bottom & a more relaxed fit on the top. Plus, the ruffle detail is so cute! I’m in a size XS in this dress. It also comes in a few other colors! These slides have become one of my go to pairs– the quality is amazing for the price. These hair clips are on heavy rotation (I’m sure you can tell). They come in a pack that end up being like $1/each.

Here is a better look at this white dress from above. Isn’t it to die for?! It comes in a few other colors, but this one seemed perfect for summer & of course, would be great for any of you brides to be. It’s a little sheer, so I wore a slip underneath it. The back is obviously so beautiful, but I loved the plunging neckline, too. It’s just effortless. I’m in a size XS for reference.

If you have a long torso & short legs like me, then meet your new favorite romper. The cut on this elongates your legs so much! I love it. The gauzey material is perfect as a coverup or just to wear out & about in the summer. I wore it as a coverup with sandals, but I also love it dressed up a little more with booties & a denim jacket. It comes in a few colors & is one of my new favorite go to pieces.

These sunnies are oldies, but goodies. I love the glittery aviator style of them. My sandals are a great go to summer pair, too! They come in several colors & I bought my true size in them. They are super comfortable.

I absolutely love this look designed by Rocky Barnes for Express. SUCH a cute summer date night look. You can style both pieces so many different ways. I love the skirt with a black t-shirt & sneakers or with a bodysuit, too. This top will be my go to summer crop. I’m wearing an XS in both & would say they fit TTS. I wore some sparkly hair clips & a black leather bag (my new one that I just LOVE) to edge up the look a bit.

This dress is like a little ray of sunshine! It’s a linen material & it has some slight ruching in a few different places on it. I’m wearing a size 2 in this for reference & would recommend sizing up at least one size in this brand. I loved this statement necklace with turquoise & pearl detail paired with this golden yellow dress. I added pearl hair clips to match the necklace.

Helloooo statement slip dress. This little mini is such a cutie for summer! Wear it dressed up or down. It comes in several colors or patterns. I’m wearing a size 2 & again would recommend sizing up at least one size in this brand. These sneaker mules have been one of my favs to slide on. The casual summer vibes make me so happy!

Another comfy travel look for the flight home. I wore these sneakers yet again because they are so comfortable, but fun. This little tank is such a perfect neutral & is a soft, waffle material. I tried to distract from my dirty hair with a cute hair scarf scrunchie again & I think it did the trick!
