Neutrals always draw me in. I just love knowing that I’ll wear pieces so many times when they are a neutral color! This look combines not only neutrals, but good basics. The combination of the two means that they are pieces you will be able to wear endlessly. Today, I’m talking about spring neutrals. Plus, I’m sharing how to create a layered neutral look that you can switch out some pieces for to recreate the look in a new fresh way again and again.
I saw this skirt and loved the ruffle detail at the top of it and both the button and zipper detail. It hit just at my waist and I felt like it was super flattering. Plus, its super comfortable! I also love this skirt styled with just a t-shirt, a denim jacket, and sneakers. I often love to pair this easy black cami with jeans, but I knew it’d be perfect with this skirt when I got it. I added black shoes, but then thought the look needed a little more color variation.
I had this white blazer that I hadn’t styled yet and I layered it over and loved it. I wanted to add in a bit more to the color palette, so I topped it off with this bag that I recently got. I have been wanting this bag for a while and finally pulled the trigger! I am so glad I did, because it is a perfect day to night bag that goes with seriously everything. I love the little bit of suede on it and the gold hardware. I added some big gold hoops to top off this look. This pair is so cute with the floral detail!
This white blazer also looks adorable with this same cami and a pair of jeans. I loved it with distressed denim and either heels or even a pair of sneakers. I love it open like this, but it has cute rose gold buttons on it that can fasten so you can wear it closed for an oversized boyfriend style fit, too. If you don’t have a white blazer in your wardrobe, add one ASAP! I wear them constantly in the spring and summer.

I spent this past weekend in Waco for a baby shower for one of my best friends. It was a fun weekend! Yesterday was my sweet Maddie girl’s second birthday, so she got to play at the park and have a lot of extra treats. We went to White Rock Lake and had a picnic and then came home and watched Get Out. We had wanted to see it for awhile and just hadn’t yet! It was such a good, thrilling movie that kept us guessing until the end. If you haven’t seen it and like that kind of movie, I definitely recommend it! I hope you all had an amazing weekend however you spent it. This next week is a busy one for me and then starting on Thursday I have the RewardStyle Conference here in Dallas, so it will be a busy weekend, too. Hope your week gets off to a great start! XO
Looking so elegant and beautiful in this sophisticated outfit!
