Sweater dress season: rounding up fifteen of my favorite sweater dresses for Fall and sharing how I styled one black bell sleeve sweater.

The more time that passes by without the temps really dropping are sort of making me sad. Besides larger issues that it brings to mind, I’m realizing that we are only going to have a few short weeks of true Fall weather here in Texas before cold weather hits. Regardless of how warm or cold it actually is outside, it is Fall and that means it is sweater dress season. I love cozy sweater dresses! Not only are they so comfortable, but they are easy and so versatile. I love wearing them with sneakers and booties now and then when it is actually cooler outside I love to pair them with OTK boots and layer them under jackets. Today, I’m sharing a little about this bell-sleeve sweater dress and rounding up fifteen adorable options to get you through sweater dress season!

We’ll start with this sweater dress. It has been selling out fast, so hurry if you love it because it will go quick! I’m including it from two retailers so hopefully you can find your size. If not, I’ll be keeping my eyes out for a restock! It also comes in a fun bright green color. I went with the black because I loved the white and burgundy stripe detail on the end of the sleeves. It is so comfortable, too! I’d recommend sizing down, as it seems to fit a little oversized. I paired it with my white booties and a burgundy clutch to play off the colors on the sleeve detail. I also went for these fun ‘dork’ glasses as I’ll call them, rather than my traditional sunglasses. I thought it gave it a fun, edgy, laid back sort of vibe! I know the oversized glasses trend isn’t for everyone, but I think it’s cute. If you’re unsure about it, consider this super cheap pair and try them around the house on casual days or wear them when you are traveling!

Below I’ve rounded up fifteen sweater dresses from my favorite stores for you all! To shop, simply click any of the photos and you’ll be taken to that product’s page.

Which one is your favorite?! I just ordered two of the fifteen on here and have a few others saved for later. These are all pretty affordable in my opinion, especially because I always get so much wear out of my sweater dresses. This one, this one, and this one are all adorable splurge-worthy options, too!

We had some friends in town this weekend for the Arkansas vs. Texas A&M game at Cowboy’s stadium here in Dallas. The game was at 11:00 on Saturday, so we woke up early to take a party bus out there with a big group. We stayed in on Friday and ordered pizza and went to bed early so we wouldn’t be zombies the next morning. We lost, but it was still such a fun day! Yesterday I got to catch up on sleep, ran a few errands, cooked, and worked on some blog posts for this week. Tonight, I’ll be gearing up to watch the Cowboy’s play for Monday night football! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and have a great start to your week. XO

  1. Personally, I love the dress you’re wearing in your photos the best; The bell sleeves and the varsity stripes are both very on trend. I also love the two multi-color striped dresses, they’re sort of 70/80’s and I’m loving that for fall this year! I love a good tailgate, sounds like you had a fabulous time 😉
