Some clothing pieces are just meant to be worn somewhere special. I always think of Carrie Bradshaw packing for Paris because she has such amazing pieces that are just perfect for her destination. While her life may not be an attainable reality, I love to emulate the same idea and dress for where I’m going. It’s so fun to play up certain vibes that different cities give off when visiting! I love flowy dresses for a beach trip or a sleek jumpsuit for a trip to a big city. Wherever you’re going, think of the vibe and play off of it! It’s such a fun excuse to play dress up and wear pieces you may not normally wear at home or even to style some of your favorite pieces a little differently for a trip.

This dress is one of those that I just want to plan a trip somewhere amazing to wear it. It’s easy, flowy, and beautiful! I didn’t want to wait for my next beach vacation to wear it on, so I wore it on a farmer’s market run. It’s seriously comfortable, which makes it great for running around, and comes in another fun print. I kept it casual with espadrille sneakers, but it also looks so cute with wedges! If you haven’t gotten a pair of espadrille sneakers yet, do it! I also love this pair and this pair. They are so cute with everything from dresses to jeans to shorts. I have gotten so much use out of this pair.

This bag has been my go to for spring. I love that I can fit so much in it and that it comes with a longer strap you can wear on your shoulder or as a crossbody. It seriously goes with everything and makes any outfit look a little more springy or summery! It also comes in a smaller size that is just as adorable. This one is a similar style that is more budget friendly and so cute, too.

I’m already planning outfits for my next vacation next month and while I’ve been searching for pieces to bring with me, I’ve found so many gorgeous dresses that just scream ‘take me on a trip.’ I scream the same thing after too long without traveling, too! haha. Aren’t there so many beautiful dresses?! I seriously am loving all of them. I have a few added to my cart for my upcoming trip to Miami. As much as I love dressing up for a vacation or specific destination, sometimes the best reason to wear a piece of clothing is because you love it and feel like it. I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I had Friday off for Good Friday, which was amazing. I was super productive so I got to enjoy sleeping in on Saturday. Then, my husband and I took our dog to the dog park, gave her a bath, worked out, enjoyed some Aperol Spritz’s (one of our favs), and went to the Stars game here in Dallas. Yesterday, we went to church with another one of our couple friends and then had brunch with my Mom for Easter. We went over to my husband’s sister’s house to have dinner with her and her husband, then came home and did some research for our upcoming trip to Paris this summer.
