The Weekly Lo Down | 09.25.2020

Happy Friday friends! We don’t have too much on the agenda this weekend besides watching the Cowboys play on Sunday with family. I had girlfriends in town last weekend & Charles went home to help his Dad with some things, so we’re excited to just hang as a family this weekend. We just finished Yellowstone this week (#addicted) so we need to find a new series to binge! LMK if you have any suggestions. If you’re new around here, each week on Fridays I roundup my fav finds from the Internet that week, answer your questions or shopping/link requests, share weekend sales, roundup my discount codes & recent blog posts, & share a charitable organization to consider supporting. Let’s get into The Weekly Lo Down 09.25.2020.

Sharing this week's version of The Weekly Lo Down 09.25.2020 featuring tons of fun Internet finds, answers to your questions, sales, & more.

The Weekly Lo Down | 09.25.2020

I’ve been crushing on this cute little bag! It’s so chic.

I found this denim mini skirt that I love! It comes in two washes & is under $80. I think the waist style of it is super flattering!

It’s tunic sweater season! You can’t go wrong with this one that was super popular last year. I’m eyeing this one right now!

Need a new hair mask? I just got a restock of this one that I use in shower as a conditioner & absolutely love. It makes your hair so moisturized & shiny.

I can’t decide on a console/buffet table for our family room. I really liked this one, but went in store & the drawers are shallow. We need more storage I think so now I’m looking at this one. I was also considering this one that I shared on stories!

I just ordered these new sneakers that I can’t wait to get in. I think the color is perfect for Fall! I got this hat to match.

My girlfriend got me this candle that I am in love with! Seriously stocking up. We’ve been burning it every night since she gave it to me.

I ordered this phone stand for my desk to be able to see my phone easier when working. I like that it’s super simple!

Not sure that I’ve ever decorated for Halloween, but I am this year. I ordered these bats I can’t wait to put up! I’ll have some Halloween decor & clothing items up on the blog for you all to shop next week.

My fav hiking style bootie from last year is back this year! I have the black & I want the cognac. I get my true size! I love the slight heel & the shearling is so warm. The leather holds up great in snow or sleet/rain & they are so warm + go with so much. They are a splurge, but they will last you for years & years.

Questions/Link Requests:

Fall/Neutral dresses for family pictures

I definitely think of things that will photograph & move well. Especially if you’ll be running after kids! I love the subtle fall colors on the edge of this one. Would look so cute with booties! For fall floral options I love this one or this one. I think this sweater dress is adorable. For solid options, I love this dress with a jacket over if needed & booties. Also, this solid Amazon dress comes in a ton of colors & is soo flattering! I have it in two colors.

Best Fall sweaters

This one for a sweater dress option, this one for an every day crewneck, & this one for a mock neck sweater. They are all from Amazon! I have them all & love them because they are affordable staples that you can buy in multiple colors. I have tons linked up in the LTK app if you need more options, too!

Fall jeans

For a splurgeworthy option, I LOVE this pair or this pair. I got my true size in both. Abercrombie has become one of my go to stores for affordable denim & most of their jeans are BOGO 50% off right now. This pair is my current fav. I usually grab my true size, but if between sizes for sure go up! I get the regular length in them. Another favorite affordable denim brand is BDG from Urban Outfitters. I just got this pair. I almost always size up a size in their denim.

Button Downs

This button down is as classic as it gets. I love this one for a pattern, this one for the collar, & this one as a denim option.

Hand Bags for Fall

Not sure what price range you’re wanting, but try this one & this one for under $100 options. This one also has fun 90s vibes! I love this one for under $200 & this one as a splurge option! LMK if you want more in a specific price range.

Beanies

This one is simple & cute! I like this one & this one, too. I’ll work on a Fall hat guide, soon!

Black cowgirl boots

I’ve been shopping for these, too! These are probably my fav I’ve found, but a splurge. This pair is similar, but more affordable. I like these or these for around $100. I really like this pair, too.

Fall wedding outfits. I am going to a wedding in Texas next month! The attire is dressy ranch.

I got you gf! Check out this post for tons of fall wedding dresses under $100.

Do you wash your hair after every time you workout? Seriously struggling with this!

Absolutely not. Ain’t nobody got time for that! I shared a step by step tutorial here of how I take my hair from the gym to work or out. It works with any dry shampoo you have on hand!

Share the Love

This week I am sharing the cause from my Change with Me post, which was my plan to continue to support the BLM movement through the end of 2020. My plan included a black owned business to support, book to read, documentary or movie to watch, & a charitable cause to support. This month, I chose to support The Bail Project. The Bail Project is committed to a future where no human being is ever forced to deteriorate in a jail cell, a future where a more sensible & equitable approach to social issues is possible. Pretrial reform is just one step in that direction; though it is an essential one, it must be accompanied by investments in alternatives to incarceration, community empowerment, police accountability, & new thinking on how we as a society respond to violence & other harm. The Bail Project offers a framework as a starting point for grounding bail & pretrial reform in a broader vision of democracy, progress, & collective wellbeing. If you feel compelled to join me in donating, you can do so here.

I hope you all enjoyed this week’s edition of The Weekly Lo Down! If there is anything at all I can help you all with further, please reach out. I love shopping for you all to make things as easy as possible for you. Hope you have a wonderful, fun, relaxing, & safe weekend! XO
