The Weekly Lo Down

K, well April flew by in about two seconds it. What an interesting month it was. Happy May & Happy Friday! I’m super excited to share The Weekly Lo Down with you all today. On Monday of this week, I put a question box up on stories asking what you all were shopping for right now & I got SO many different responses. Understandably so. Some of you are embracing quarantine & wanting more organization, home, & loungewear posts. Some are in limbo & wanting activewear & beauty (things for both now & later), & some are OVER IT & want all the cute clothes, swimsuits, shorts, & more. I feel all of you! I’m getting to everything a little bit today in The Weekly Lo Down & will be working to create blog posts over some things, too because there is just so much to share.

The Weekly Lo Down

I got some requests for cute activewear crop tops that are longer than a sports bra. Check this blog post, but also for easy reference I like this one, this one, & this one!

If you need a new workout to try while at home or to kick things up a notch, I started P.Volve & have been loving it. I’ll have a full review up, soon. Lots of requests for organizational items! I’ll work on some posts for this if you all want, but in the mean time I have these baskets + these labels ALL over our home. I know a lot of people are shopping for home items right now! Speaking of home decor, you all LOVED this super affordable site I shared. I knew they had cute clothes, but didn’t know until recently that they had cute home decor, too. I’m eyeing this planter, this marble vase, & this lantern for our patio.

Some of you said you are shopping for cooking related items. I have still been loving our air fryer! I make okra fries & buffalo cauliflower in ours. This is a super cute set of mixing bowls, & I have been using this cookbook & this cookbook so much while in quarantine. I also love this cute white & rose gold gadget set.

Skincare: Check out this LTK post with some of my morning skincare routine. I have a ton of info on skincare in this blog post, but I’ll do an updated blog post on both AM & PM skincare routines soon, promise.

A few questions on THE Agolde shorts. I LOVE them. I order my true size in them. I size down one in their jeans because I like my jeans fitted, but prefer my denim shorts to be more relaxed. It’s definitely personal preference. If the Agolde shorts are a little too much of a splurge for you, this $15 pair is an amazing dupe (fit TTS) & I have honestly been reaching for them more than the Agolde pair recently.

Some of you are shopping for swimsuits & I am so jealous that you have a pool or a beach to wear them to where you live. I may be buying a blow up kiddie pool for myself in the back yard. Haha. One of you said you were shopping for a good floor mirror. We have this vintage looking oversized gold one (MY FAV!), this acrylic + gold one, this wood one, & this gold one in our home. I also like this simple option or I love this one.  I think this one is so cool too, but is more of a splurge!

I get asked about the wall art in our home a lot. Many are photos I have taken myself while traveling, but a few of my go to sites for prints are Society 6 & Citizen Atelier. I’ve thought about selling my prints on my site & some of you have expressed interest in that so stay tuned!

Seems like a lot of people are tired of activewear & ready for cute spring + summer clothes! Specifically, tops. My go to bronzer is this one & my go to highlighters right now are this one or this one in moonlight.

Biker shorts: I just ordered a few pairs to try this trend again. Stay tuned for a try on, but in the mean time I like this pair, this pair, & this pair.

I shared my favorite face masks during the Sephora sale but in case you missed it I like this one for exfoliating once a week, this one for breakouts, & this one for hydrating.

I am working on a post with tons of summer short ideas, but until then I just ordered this pair, I love these, & these are super fun.
