It’s almost America’s birthday! We originally had plans to go to the river in Arkansas with Charles’s dad & some of his family this weekend. However, if you’ve seen my stories then you know that my Dad is currently in the ICU fighting COVID. We thought it would be best for us to stay put this weekend. For all of you who have prayed & reached out– thank you so very much. I can’t tell you how appreciative I am. You all are the best, most supportive community & I am so thankful for you.
On a positive note, our renovation is justttt shy of finished (just a few little touch ups or lingering small things) so we will be spending the weekend enjoying our home being somewhat back in order. We also get our new big sectional for the room delivered this weekend! Since it’s Friday, that means it’s time for another edition of The Weekly Lo Down. I went with my best friend to look at wedding bands for her & got my ring cleaned while I was at the store where Charles designed my engagement ring. It was SO dirty. I bought this little jewelry cleaner off Amazon (had the best reviews) so I can keep it clean!

Charles ordered us a huge inflatable pool for the backyard. Pretty funny, but will be perfect for when we want to lay out & get a little color without having to drive across town to a friend or family member’s house who has a pool.
I’ve been loving cute hair accessories for when I wear my hair back (which is A LOT in the hot Texas summer). These gold bobby pins are so fun. I also love this hair scarf & this scrunchie set! Also, speaking of hair, the towel headband I use when I wash my face is back in stock in leopard & a cute tie dye option.
I’ve seen these sunnies floating around the ‘gram so I decided to pull the trigger. They are under $15 & come in a few colors. I ordered them in white & black!
