In the midst of all the Christmas prep madness, it’s easy to forget to look ahead. I’m here to force you to think about next week though, because New Years Eve is just around the corner and I can think of no better excuse for a new outfit. Whether you’re doing dinner out, a chill night in with a champagne toast in bed, or a big party.. you’ll need something festive to wear! I started scouting all my favorite online stores earlier this week to round up my favorite options. I also shared the first of several looks with you all for some inspiration! The dress I’m wearing in it is full of Michael Jackson vibes and although it is splurge-worthy, it’s worth every penny in my opinion. Let’s talk about this fun little wrap swing dress I’m wearing. First of all, the metallic color makes it perfect for the holidays. Second, the wrap meets swing silouhuette makes it such an easy choice. Particularly after all the inevitable holiday indulgences. I wanted to accentuate my waist a bit more, so I added a black belt. I opted for classic pumps and a black chain bag. I topped off my look with a red lip and statement earrings! I usually may not do so many accessories, especially with metallics, but NYE is a great excuse to go all out.

Sequins, metallics, or something with a little sparkle is an always fun and festive choice for New Years Eve. It’s such a fun time to wear a little bling or a piece of clothing you might otherwise think is ‘too much’ in your day to day.

Black is always a classic choice for a party or a fun night out. Many of these dresses you can wear again, which make them a great purchase! I like to glam up my black for a big night like NYE with a red lip, some bold jewels, or a fun pair of shoes or purse.

Today starts my two week holiday break!! Tonight we are having date night and then tomorrow morning following a marathon shoot of a ton of outfits, we’ll be driving back to Charles’s hometown in Arkansas. Maddie is coming with us and we’ll be there for a few days for Christmas! Whatever you are up to this weekend– I hope it is filled with family, friends, and wonderful blessings. I am oh so excited for two weeks off of work! Catching up on sleep will be magical. XO
