Turn it Around

Remember this sweater? Sure ya do. I wore it last time with jeans, snakeskin booties, and this cutout in the back. I don’t actually know which way it was meant to go. But, I was looking in my closet the other day thinking ‘I wish I had one of those choker sweaters’ and then I got an idea. Why don’t I just turn it around and wear this in the front with a lacey little bralette? And so here you have it folks. This sweater is just a little over $50 and since you can wear it turned either way and styled so many different ways it’s one heck of a deal. I paired it here with this little vegan leather mini. It’s under $30 and linked below. I also linked a ‘splurge’ option for those of you who want the real deal leather and aren’t ballin on a budget for the look like this girl. The best part about a leather skirt, whether it’s real or vegan, is that you can wear it again and again. I love to dress mine down with sneakers and a tshirt, throw tights under it, or dress it up for date night with heels and a sweater.

I kept this look in classic winter tones and added black flat OTK boots (my favs) and a black bag. I added these statement earrings to give it a little bling. These earrings look so good wtih grey. They’ve sold out a few times but are back in two colors! Look closely at my ring.. no, not my engagement ring– the other one! It just got restocked and is on sale and I can’t stop wearing it. I think it’s so cool and unique! Soo snag it before it’s gone.

What are your plans for the weekend? My 2 week holiday break starts today and I am so excited! Tonight we have a Christmas party with friends and tomorrow night we are doing a big group date with some couples that will include festive food + adult beverages, a white elephant gift exchange, and then going out on the town. It’s supposed to be in the high 70s here on Saturday then drop to a high of 30 on Sunday. AKA I’m not leaving the house on Sunday. I’ll stay inside except for taking Maddie out and pack for our vacation the next day! I cannnnot wait for the beach and relaxation.
