How to Style Booties Across Seasons

Booties are one of my favorite things to buy. Many people reserve them for the cooler months in the Fall and Winter, but I love wearing them year round. Because I’ve heard many people express that they are unsure when styling them for the warmer months, I wanted to share ideas for wearing your booties now. I’m not only sharing my tips for how to style booties across seasons, but also a round up of the best wear now and wear later shoes that are all currently on SALE!

First things first, I love booties because of their versatility. I really can’t think of anything that you can’t wear them with– dresses, shorts, jeans, rompers. They work with everything! Another reason I love them is because they are often really comfortable. With a shorter or thicker heel than a stiletto, you end up being able to wear them from day to night. Finally, I love them for the CPW (cost per wear). I always get so much wear out of my booties through the years.

When it’s warmer outside, I wear my booties with shorts, dresses, and rompers. Cutoffs and booties are one of my favorite combos. When it starts to get a little cooler, you can just add on the layers. I love cutoffs, a t-shirt, booties, and a leather or suede jacket in the Fall. This combo of just a simple sweater and cutoffs is one of my go-to outfits as the temps start to drop.

Let’s talk specifically about the pieces I’m wearing in this featured outfit. My bell sleeve sweater is on sale for under $40, comes in two colors, and is so dang soft. These shorts are my absolute favs- I always size up for a more relaxed fit. These booties are on sale for under $100 and come in three colors. They are so insanely comfortable, too! I always prefer a little heel on my booties and this block one is just the right height.

There are so many amazing shoes on sale right now that you can wear now and/or wear later. As you’ve just learned, booties can fall into both categories! Below I’ve rounded up all my favorites from the sale (I seriously want them alllll). The mules pictured are also great to wear into Fall and for months to come, as long as it isn’t freezing outside. While the open heeled sandals are best reserved for the warmer months and the OTK boots for the cooler ones, all the other ones are so versatile.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was a great mix of relaxation, fun, and productivity. Unfortunately, I woke up yesterday with a cold, but I sort of think thats inevitable for me every time I get home from an International trip, especially one that was as much traveling as ours was! I’m trying to take it easy until I’m better, so sitting on the couch catching up on my shows and online shopping with takeout seems like the perfect way to spend my next few days. XO
