You’ve been there. You just say ‘Whatever’ or Screw it or even F-it and just go for it. You have the ice cream to cure the bad day. You splurge on the bag you’ve been wanting. You book a trip somewhere. You tell someone what’s been on your mind or chop your hair or whatever. I love ‘whatever’ moments. Just go for it! Whatever came to mind when you were reading those last few sentences may be very telling. What came to mind for you? What is something that you’ve been wanting to do, but holding back on? I say go for it. Today, I’m talking about the ‘whatever’ mindset and the slogan trend that inspired me to get this graphic top and led to this post.

I’m blaming the rain we’ve had for the majority of the days over the past few weeks on my whatever mindset. I booked a few trips in January both with my husband and with some girlfriends in a few week period of really focusing on YOLO and just doing what I wanted. It’s important to note that I am talking about doing what I want within reason here. Don’t go too crazy and live outside your means or put yourself at risk in anyway, but do something you want without overthinking it. It can be as simple as a trip to get ice cream on a Tuesday just because or as big as booking a two week trip somewhere internationally that has been calling out to you. I kept it simple this week by adding a little color into my life with this top and this background, but this weekend is a result of a bigger moment. One of my best girlfriends and I are off to Las Vegas for a weekend together! More on that at the end of this post.

Let’s talk a little about the slogan and graphic trend. I teamed up with Farfetch to talk a little bit about it and show you this look where I styled one of their slogan jumpers. They have tons of cute pieces from this trend on their site that I am absolutely loving. A few of my favorites from them and a few other retailers are below for you all to shop!

I love so many of these! I feel like a good graphic jumper or tshirt is a perfect conversation starter. Something about having words on your top just make people want to comment about it! I also love a good graphic top. Finding the perfect one for your mood, a vacation, or that suits your everyday lifestyle is so fun! There are so many ways to style them, too. I styled this one casually, but I love to wear a graphic top under a blazer or a jacket and pair it with heels.

You can see more from this adorable trend in this article that Farfetch put together including how I and a few other influencers styled slogan jumpers.

As mentioned earlier in this post, I’m off to Vegas this weekend. My bestie and I leave bright and early tomorrow morning and are staying through Sunday. I haven’t been to Vegas in probably five years. This will be y fourth time visiting, but I feel like the first few times was all about the social party scene. While we plan to go out and have fun this time, we are also going to see a Cirque show, see some other fun parts of Vegas, gamble, and eat lots of good food. Be sure you’re following me on Instagram and check in to see my stories to follow along for all the behind the scenes! I’m out of town the next three weekends and I’m so excited for each little getaway. Traveling gives me life, challenges me, and provides me something to look forward to to get through the spring at work! Anyone else love having trips on their calendar to carry them through?

Hope you are all having a good week so far! XO

Heh, I def. had a rough day yesterday and then I had my YOLO moment in the evening doing the “cliche”, eating my fave ice cream by spoon from the box and watching a movie in my bed. 😀
Love your casual combo and sweatshirt with a logo or slogan / graphics is something I’ve been into for years and still didn’t get bored of. 🙂
