White Peplum Top

shop the look:

It’s all in the details my friends. This top is proof of that! This otherwise simple white long-sleeve top has the most gorgeous tiered peplum detailing on the bottom. The fabric is light and can easily be worn throughout warmer months or layered on top of when its cooler outside. You can wear it to work with black pants or a pencil skirt and out with short or jeans.

The cut of this top makes it really flattering because it accentuates your waist. I’m wearing an XS for sizing purposes. The fabric has a little give to it, too. This top is an amazing price at under $40! This entire site has so many amazing pieces. I always find myself stocking up when I go on, because I just can’t say no to all the great deals. Now is the perfect time to shop on a site like this, because you can get so much for the newer season that it will leave you feeling like you have a fresh wardrobe without breaking your budget.

I look at white as a blank canvas for accessories, which is why I gravitate towards it so much. Accessories transform an outfit instantly and effortlessly. They allow you to wear the same top, or even the same basic pieces, again and again, while still feeling like you’ve got a new and fresh look. I’ve been wearing the choker part of this necklace set a ton lately (see here and here) and this is the other layered statement part, making it really three necklaces in one.

I bought these jeans late last summer and they are finally back in stock! They are oh so comfortable and I love the color of them. They look so great next to lighter colors in my opinion and I love the lighter detail on the legs for a little contrast. The raw hem is still so on trend, too! I like the casual vibe that adds without having other distressed detail on this pair. I almost always cuff my jeans up to show off my heels, plus I have short legs so they rarely are the right length on me and I’m so bad about getting my jeans hemmed. Especially a pair like this because I don’t want to risk anyone messing up the raw hem detailing. If you are in need of a new pair, definitely try these out. This has become one of my favorite denim brands over the last year or so!

I don’t know about you guys, but I had a major case of the Mondays yesterday. I haven’t had a full five day work week in a few weeks due to breaks or days off for wedding-related events, so this is the first week in three or four I’ve gone in knowing I had five days ahead of me. While I definitely need it to feel more caught up, it left me feeling a little ‘meh.’ I worked through it by getting in a good workout, going to the grocery store, and cooking a healthy dinner! A little Pinterest on the couch with a glass of wine, some dark chocolate, and television didn’t hurt, either. I’ve been so off my workout and healthy eating game lately because I have been so busy that I am vowing to get back on track this week. Yesterday was definitely a step in the right direction. With less than three months until my wedding, it is time to whip my butt into tip top shape! Hope you all survived your Monday and are having a great week so far! XO
