What a weekend! On Friday night I had the pleasure of attending the Gemfields x Muse event at Stanley Korshak. The event featured a capsule collection partnering the world’s largest supplier of responsibly sourced mozambican rubies and zambian emeralds with a select group of world-renowned fine jewelry designers. In short, a ton of stunning jewelry featuring emeralds and rubies. I was lucky enough to get to try on some of the pieces and wear them during the event. I did NOT want to give them back. Following the event on Friday, I went to a birthday dinner for two of my good girlfriends. They wanted to go to a hibachi dinner, which reminded all of us of college. There was a hibachi and sushi restaurant we seemed to go to before every formal and for someone’s birthday, so this was a fun throwback. The best part? We were in a back room with karaoke. Oh yes! If you’re following me on Snapchat then you saw all the fun that went down. It was so much fun. On Saturday, we moved. Woof. I love moving because of getting a new space and being able to get rid of a lot of things that you might not use often or truly need. This resulted in a HUGE closet clean out. We did most of our moving on Saturday and then finished up this morning with the little things. We’ve got every box unpacked– except for the one with all of my ‘to sell’ or ‘donate’ clothes. I’m waiting on a few friends to dig through them and take what they want, but then I’m hoping they make someone else very happy! We stayed in the same building but moved into an apartment that has more space and makes it more convenient to let our sweet puppy Maddie out. We ordered a few more pieces of furniture, but still need a few other things. Furniture really adds up so I’m hoping a larger item can be found on sale during all of the holidays or that we can even get it as a wedding gift. A girl can dream! I need a few other little things, too so I’ll be working on that when I have the day off on Wednesday.

We had the Cowboys game on while unpacking and we got another W! I am so proud of this team right now. I also took a little time away from unpacking and organizing to shoot some new blog looks this evening that I can’t wait to share with you. I’ll be working on some more content on Wednesday when I’m off, too. Can’t wait for all of the holiday deals on Black Friday and even more so on Cyber Monday! I’ll be posting all the details so make sure you check back and make me your go-to for all the of the best deals. Tonight, I’m blogging and watching the American Music Awards with a big ole’ glass of wine on the couch with my pup and my man friend. I wear this one all the time either with sneakers, booties, or like I did here with OTK boots. Before getting to try on the amazing Gemfields x Muse jewels I had on a layered choker necklace and some more casual statement earrings than those I got to wear following these photos.
