I’m not sure where the tradition of wearing sparkles on New Year’s Eve started, but I know I like it. I think it’s such a fun time to just go all out. Whether you’re partying with friends and want to show a little skin or having a more low key night out of town with family, no matter what you’re doing, you can add a little bling or something festive to your look! Today, I wanted to share some New Years Eve outfit ideas with you all and round up a ton of my current favorite options for one of the most glam nights of the year!
I sort of panicked when I realized that Christmas is in less than a week and that makes my typical-planner mind jump ahead. We aren’t sure what we’re doing for NYE yet, so many outfits must be scouted. I figured tons of you are in my book and either haven’t committed to plans yet or at least haven’t decided on an outfit. I usually like to order more than one and then decide on the day based on how I’m feeling or even in my older and wiser years– based on the weather. I love an excuse to get dressed up, so my NYE outfit inspo look for you all includes a more dressy option!
This dress is by one of my favorite splurge-worthy brands. Every clothing item made by this brand has so much attention to detail and is so carefully made. I feel so amazing in every piece I wear by them. I loved the 90’s vibes this dress gave off! I couldn’t help but want to blast some Michael Jackson and dance. So, I did. I paired it with classic black pumps and a chain bag and topped the look off with a red lip because #partytime. Few things say glam like a red lip!

I always think back to the Sex and the City movie when even on their more casual NYE nights at home, the girls are sporting a little bling. Carrie dressed up her PJs with a sequin beret and of course, heels and Samantha and Smith sported sequin robes at home with champagne.
