I had been dreaming of going to Paris for years and was so excited that we planned to go to celebrate our one year anniversary. It was a perfect destination for the occasion! I started planning outfits in my head as soon as we booked our tickets. Paris is a fashion forward city where everyone seems to have this effortless classic style, while incorporating just the right amount of trend. While doing my day to day shopping, I started saving outfits that I thought would be perfect for our trip. When it came time to shop and put looks together, I had SO many that I loved and wish I could have even put together more. Today, I’m sharing my Paris outfit recap with you all so that you can shop all of my outfits from my recent trip in one place. I’ll be sharing my French Riviera outfit recap and my travel guide for Paris and the South of France, soon.
I always use vacations as an excuse to push the envelope and wear something I may not always wear at home. I love to think about where I am going and dress for the destination. When I think of Paris I think fashion forward, chic, and easy and that is how I wanted to dress while there. I’m giving you two ways to shop each outfit below. First up, my travel look for a VERY long night of traveling. I’m all about being casual and comfortable, but cute when flying, but when it comes to longer international flights, I’m just about the comfort. I have a sweats on, make up off, glasses on sort of mentality and am just trying to survive! I always want to shower first thing when I land after a long day of travel, so I’m not too worried about my appearance. This is one of my favorite brands for cute sweats and comfy clothes. I have my denim jacket handy and socks ready in my tote bag. This tote is my absolute favorite for work and travel, because it has compartments for everything so you can stay organized!

Bae and I wanted to do a little photo shoot in Paris together while there. Well, actually I did and he went along with it because he’s the best. When traveling together, he is mostly behind the lens helping me taking outfit photos and we don’t end up with many together. Before our wedding last year we woke up early to do a day before wedding shoot in front of the Duomo and in front of the carousel at sunrise in Florence, so I thought it would be fun to have photos together now in front of the Eiffel Tower together in Paris. I’ve chopped my hair off since our wedding, so having updated pictures for our home and for us to have is so fun! I wore two different outfits (the other is below) during this shoot and he jumped in and out of the photos with me. Gabi Alves Photography took our photos and did such a great job!
I wore this adorable white lace dress (from the same brand I love who made this backless LBD). I love the off the shoulder, ruffle, and black tie detail on it! I’m wearing my usual size, but could have definitely sized up in it. It was tight– especially coming on and off! FLL tends to run a little small, so when in doubt, size up. These lace up heels have been one of my favorite purchases because of the ruffle details they have. They instantly add a little fun to any look!

Y’all know I love a good two piece set. The neutral colors and the stripes on this one had such a classic feel to me, so I thought it would be perfect for walking around in Paris. Both pieces can be worn SO many different ways and are great price points. I’ll definitely be wearing this blazer again to work in the Fall! I paired it with a simple lace cami and sandals, but also think this would look so cute with sneakers or even dressed up with heels. Such an easy day to night look! I got these cat eye sunnies for this trip, because they felt so Parisian chic to me. I love the little bit of attitude they added to every look.

I added this jumpsuit to my cart the second I saw it. I definitely wanted to pack something polka dots for Paris and this was IT. I loved that it looked like a top and pants, but that it was actually all one piece. The tie top detail is so fun and different and I just felt so great in this outfit! I wore it out for dinner and drinks one night with a friend we had from when we spent a summer in Brazil who lives in Paris. I topped off the look with a red lip because nothing feels more Parisian to me than a red lip. Plus, it added a little bit of color to this black and white look. The jumpsuit fits TTS (true to size) or if you’re between sizes, I’d size up for a more relaxed fit. I was a little worried about the coverage the top would provide, but it has more fabric than it looks like and can be adjusted, so it was no problem at all!

I wore this cute little blazer dress when we went to Versailles for the day. Holy gorgeousness… that place is insane! More on that in my travel guide to come. I love blazer dresses because they can so easily be dressed up or down. Because I knew we’d be doing a ton of walking, I paired this one with sneakers. It looks so cute dressed up with heels or booties, too. It comes with a matching belt, but it would be adorable to switch out the belt for another one you own for a different look. I wanted a little pop of color, so this red bag with pearl embellishment and a red, white, and blue striped ribbon strap was perfect! It’s a steal, too. I matched my sunnies to my sneakers and felt like that tied the look together.

I mean, can you go to Paris and not pack classic black and white stripes!? I think not. I LOVED this bodysuit, so it was a no brainer for me. It’s relaxed and can sit off the shoulder, which creates such a pretty silhouette. I love bodysuits with high waisted jeans or pants and this black belted pair was perfect! I will definitely be wearing these pants a lot because you can easily style them so many ways for both work and play. Like with the polka dot jumpsuit above, I felt a red lip just added a needed pop of color to the look. I got these shoes just before the trip and I adore them. This brand is one of my favorites for heels because they make so many gorgeous, unique shoes and aren’t crazy expensive like you may think they would be.

I love any good excuse for sequins. Especially a sequin mini! I wanted to dress it down, so I put an oversized blazer over it and accessorized with a belt bag (loving this trend) and sneakers. I’ve gotten so much good use out of this blazer the past few months. I have it in both white and black and love how many different ways you can style it. It looks great with jeans or shorts, too. I like pairing it over dresses because of the menswear fit it has. It sort of relaxes any outfit and gives it a little bit of an effortless vibe in my opinion. I matched my black belt bag to my classic Celine sunnies to tie the whole look together. This dress would be perfect for so many different occasions depending on how you style it! It runs a little small though, so I suggest sizing up one.

I looooved this look. It felt very casual chic to me. Perfect for a day of wandering around the Louve! This blazer is by one of my favorite designers who I think is just the queen of effortless chic. It’s amazing quality and fits so well. I paired it with this fun striped mini skirt and a French slogan t-shirt. Wearing my belt bag draped over my shoulder like this made it so easy to keep everything safe, but still have my phone easily accessible as needed. My cat eye sunnies of course, added a little bit of edge to the look.

I’ve worn this same outfit several times since Paris. It’s easy, cute, and so versatile. You can always switch out the shoes to make it a little more dressed up for date night or a night out. Perfect day to night look! This is actually a bodysuit, which is why it fits so well! It looks so cute paired with shorts or skirts, too. The ruffle detail on the straps isn’t too bulky, so you can also wear it under blazers or jackets.

I can never have too many dresses like this! It’s so soft and easy that it’s one I’ll reach for time and time again. It’s a jersey + t-shirt material, which makes it really comfortable. I threw this on for a casual dinner one night with sandals so it’d be easier to walk around in. I think it would also look cute with sneakers. It’s a steal of a price and considering how much I’ve already worn it, I know it will end up having such great CPW value.

Hello perfect summer dress! I think this is one of the prettiest, most classic dresses that I’ve ever seen. It’s a linen blend material so it’s light weight for summer and was perfect for a day of champagne tasting! I love the midi silhouette and think its such a flattering dress. It also looks amazing with wedges or heels, too! I wore it with my cute little basket style bag and added a navy printed scarf to it so the look had a little color.

Lightweight material, fun sleeves, and button detail are all factors in a beautiful summer dress! I think this dress is a steal. It comes in a few colors, too. I wore it with simple black slides and then matched my fun white cat eye sunnies to this pretty white scarf on my basket bag. These sunnies are a great price for a more trendy pair. They feel so summery to me!

This may be one of the more out there things I’ve worn, but I absolutely loved it. My husband did, too! I wore this out to a nice dinner one night and it was perfect for a few popular places we went to. It comes with a bralette and lining underneath so everything is covered, but the lace and slit detail make it fun and different! I got several compliments on this dress out that night. It’s hard to see, but there is a little bit of metallic detail on the lace, so I wore a pair of silver shoes with it to match and keep it dressed up. I love mixing metals so I wore some gold jewelry and a bag with gold detail, too. This is SUCH a fun dress if you want something bold and different!

I love alllll the sequins and any chance I can come up with to wear them. I like to edge them up, so a contrast with black works well. This ruffle skirt is super versatile and can be worn so many different ways! We actually got up at sunrise on a weekend to get this shot so I really just wore this for the picture (#realtalk) but it was so worth the early wake up call. Minus the fact that I have never quite dodged traffic quite like that before. Every few minutes the lights would work just right in our favor where we could get a shot or two without cars or at least with just one or two! Props to my husband for dodging the cars with me. He’s the best.

I love a good, bold red moment. It was just too perfect with these black and white striped columns at the Palais Royal, too. I knew I wanted to wear something red to stand out here amongst all the neutrals and this red jumpsuit was perfect! Its a crepe sort of fabric that is really comfortable and has a little give. Plus, it has removable straps. I went with classic Celine sunnies and black accessories to let the jumpsuit be the main focus of the look.

I mean did you even go on a picnic in Paris if you didn’t wear gingham? Probably not. This dress is just a dream! I love the off the shoulder, the midi length, the buttons, the ruffles.. everything. It is SUCH a good piece. I think it looks amazing dressed up with heels and statement jewelry, too. We were doing a lot of walking this day, so I kept it casual with sneakers and a belt bag. It was also insanely hot this day so I just stopped trying to make my hair down work and threw it back in a bun. I got so many DMs and comments saying people loved my hair like this. I like to hear that, because its’ really effortless.
