I have had this post on my to do list for weeks! In March when we started spending more time than ever at home, we moved our patio up high onto our priority list. We had originally said we would decorate our patio last, just because we had a few chairs outside to at least be able to use it & wanted to focus on the inside of our home. We had a big renovation starting for a family room in mid-May, but couldn’t ignore how much time we were wanting to spend outside! It gets way too hot in Texas to spend too much time outside, so the Spring & Fall (or even sometimes Winter) are more of our outdoor months. I didn’t want to spend the next two or three months at home with this beautiful weather & not be able to enjoy it, so I hopped full force into our patio & today I am finally sharing our patio reveal with you all! I’m including a bit more about the space & where everything we have is from!

Below I am sharing our patio reveal including links to everything! Just click on any of the item images included between every few photos & it will take you straight to that product’s page where you can shop. I’m grouping areas of the patio together to make it easier for you all to shop! I included links to everything I’m wearing in the photos at the very end, so scroll all the way down for that.
Our patio is covered & has two lights + fans, which is such a nice feature. The cover is very, very old so we plan to replace it one do or do more of a wooden pergola with shade. I feel like the shade in Texas is essential! Plus, it’s so nice that everything under neath here doesn’t get soaked when it rains. We added lights all around it which is so cute + provides a little extra light outside at night time.

We wanted our patio to feel like a bit of an escape. I wanted tons of plants & just a light, carefree feeling. I picked pillows that we could switch out a few of come Fall/Winter to give it a little seasonal update, which I love. I’ll share that when I do it with you all! I love keeping our main pieces neutral, because when you do want to update it for a new season or just to give it a fresh feel, you can do so by just switching out the accessories you use.
This daybed was love at first site for me. We still need to get a more durable outdoor cover for the mattress on it so we aren’t scared about the dogs ruining it, but for now just keep it covered when we aren’t using it or drape the blanket across it to be extra careful. You can actually use this daybed indoors, too! I wouldn’t recommend putting it outside unless you have it on a covered patio like we do. I had this coffee table saved from the minute I saw it & knew I wanted it to go somewhere outside. It’s so unique & beautiful!

I moved this little gold tripod table outside because we weren’t using it indoors anymore. Since our patio is covered it hasn’t been an issue even though it isn’t truly an outdoor table. The little palm on top of it is actually an incense holder! I have citronella incense sticks I light to help keep the bugs away when are hanging outside at night. It helps so much!
We had an ‘extra’ TV since we decided not to use one in our master bedroom & thought it would be perfect to use outside. We bought a weatherproof cover for it (linked below) that we put over it when we aren’t using it & it’s been great so far. We have it on a little wood console that matches some of the other wood outside & it’s perfect! To the right of the console is a fire wood holder that I’ll move out closer to the fire pit (see below) when it’s cooler outside. *If you’re wondering what the ziploc bags are for, they have a water & penny in them, which is supposed to help with bugs. IDK if it actually works, but it sure can’t hurt, right?!*

I wanted to get as big of a dining table as possible outside! I loved this grey one because it could seat 8 & has room for an umbrella in the middle if we ever want to use it somewhere that isn’t covered. The table also comes in a white color that is really pretty & in a smaller size. Our main dining table only seats 6 or will expand to seat more if we add in a leaf, but it ends up being a tight fit so having a larger table that seats more is so great! I loved the black chairs to contrast with the grey nicely & then added the gold ones on the end for a fun touch. I think they are so gorgeous & love how they look with everything else!

This plant shelf is such a steal & honestly could be used in so many different places inside or outside. I loved the natural color of it! I found this fun evil eye mirror to put above it & then loaded it up with plants, a watering can, a cute seed container, a citronella candle, & some baskets on the bottom which have some outdoors essentials in them. It fit perfectly in this little corner!

This is our fire pit area that is uncovered. I actually just put this marble tile sample that we had on top of the fire pit & it made it perfect for a ‘coffee table’ feel when it’s too hot to use the fire pit. Love that we were able to do this to make it multi purpose for different times of year. I am looking for a cute umbrella or two to put out here during the summer months & would love some larger plants eventually, too. I’ll switch out the pillows out here for more Fall feeling ones, soon & of course, have everything we need for s’mores on hand! My favorite. The hammock off in the distance is one of my favorite places to chill with a good book. I love the fringe on it (reminds me of ones from down in Tulum) & surprisingly the dogs haven’t messed it up!
I rounded up all the outfits I’m wearing in the photos above for you all to shop below. I’m wearing an XS in the sweatshirt romper, a Small in the green dress, an XS in the sweater dress, a S in the shirt, & my true size in the denim shorts. The sneakers & sandals both fit TTS.

I hope you all loved seeing our patio reveal & getting a closer look at our outdoor space. I had so much fun decorating this & can’t wait to give it a little refresh come Fall. We love spending time out here as a family & with both of us working from home now for the foreseeable future, it’s so nice to be able to set up outside to work for a change of scenery on nice days. We didn’t plan to go ahead & decorate out here just yet, but it was a great quarantine project & we’ve gotten so much good use out of it already!
