Punta Mita Outfit Recap

I hope you all weren’t too overloaded with all of my looks from Casa Koko in Punta Mita. I had so much fun putting looks together and it was THE most beautiful place that I wanted to shoot a ton of looks to share. I may have changed too many times in a day, but I just couldn’t help myself.

WHAT TO WEAR IN PUNTA MITA

I absolutely love picking out looks to wear on vacation. I get so inspired when I travel and love to wear things I may not normally wear on a day to day at home. I love adding in more colors and prints into my wardrobe for vacation! When planning looks for a trip, I like to think about where I’m going and what goes with the setting. I find that most places in Mexico can be casual if you want or you can go for a more dressy beach style. Think a lot of easy dresses that work well with sandals or heels and lots of great swimsuits and coverups. Today I am sharing my Punta Mita outfit recap and giving you all an idea of what to wear in Punta Mita or on any upcoming tropical vacation you may have coming up!

I wore this easy tshirt dress for our travel day. I LOVE it. It comes in several colors and is so easy to throw on. I always bring a denim jacket with me when I travel because I get cold a lot on planes. I’m wearing an XXS in this dress, but could have sized up to an XS for more room, as this one is pretty fitted. This tote bag is the large size and is THE BEST tote bag I’ve ever owned. I use it every day for work, too. There is a compartment for everything and it holds up so well.

I am obsessed with this dress! I love the easy linen material and the ruffle detail on it. I went with white shoes and a white bag to make them pop against this neutral. I’m wearing a size zero in this dress for reference. I wanted a little bit of color added in to the look so I added these amazing statement earrings. They are so fun and actually weren’t too heavy like I was worried they might be.

I fell in love with yellow a few years ago during the spring and summer and my obsession is still going strong. This jumpsuit is the perfect shade and the easy linen-ish material is so comfortable. It makes it perfect for vacation! I dressed it up with heels, but it looks great with sandals or sneakers, too. I’m in a size zero for reference. I have taken this hat on a few trips with me so far and will definitely continue to. It’s such a great, versatile hat that I can wear day with so many different looks.

We all had a white night and you all sent in so many messages asking for the info on this dress. It may just be the perfect little white linen dress. I adore it! I’m in a size two for reference. If you haven’t shopped this brand before, they are one of my favorites because not only is their clothing so cute, it is sustainable and so well made. I absolutely LOVE this dress and can’t wait to wear it on repeat this summer. I dressed it up for dinner with heels, but it looks adorable with wedges, sandals, and even sneakers.

Vacay is for lounging in PJs, right? This little spot in our room was perfect for lounging and enjoying coffee. This set comes in another print and also has a matching robe/kimono available. I got a size small in this, but should have gone with an XS. Something about having coordinating PJs makes me feel more put together and I love any pair that is satin or silk. It makes them so comfortable!

This dress may be my favorite from the trip. I adore the movement on it and it is so darn comfortable. This brand is one of my favorite brands for vacation pieces. They always use the most beautiful fabrics and prints to make the easiest pieces! They are a bit of a splurge, but I am so happy every time I put one on that it’s so worth it to me. Plus, they are so well made.

How cute are all my #CasaKokoGirls? I love them. We all wanted to dress in white for our last dinner at the house and I love what everyone picked out to wear. I linked all of our looks here for you to easily shop. If you are a bride to be, consider this your perfect source for inspiration! I personally can never have too many cute white looks in my closet. White is one of my favorite colors because it’s like a blank canvas for accessories!

This white dress is so stunning. If you’re a bride, snag it ASAP. I also got it in black. When I styled the black one, I wore it with booties for a more edgy look. This dress also looks so cute dressed down with sneakers and a denim jacket! It is so flattering and is just the most beautiful silhouette. I’m wearing a size two for reference.

I’ve missed wearing orange! It’s such a happy color and I love wearing it when I know I’ll get a tan. This dress has two slits in the front that gives it the most beautiful movement. I loved the way this fit! I obviously decided to dress it up with heels, but this is a really versatile dress. I’m in a size XS for reference.

Blue at the beach is always so pretty. I added this dress to my cart as soon as I saw it because I loved the color and am obsessed with slip dresses. There are always so many ways to style a slip dress and I get so much good use out of them. Whitney, Jaclyn, and I all walked out in blue one night and had to snap a pic together.

I adored this dress to throw on to go get coffee and breakfast in the morning. Maxi dresses are just so comfortable! This one felt like pajamas, but it could be dressed up or down actually! I loved the button detail down the front and the tie detail on the sleeves.

How pretty is the back detail on this slip style dress? Amanda and I both found ourselves in these palm dresses and had to snap a pic! Both of our dresses come in several other color or print options if palm prints aren’t your thing. Clearly, we both love them!

You may recall Ally‘s dress from Miami, because I have that one too and wore it there. I wanted it again in the style I’m wearing because its such a classic little beach or vacay dress. I love the white pom and back detail on both dresses! There are a few other color options available besides the blue, too.

This black one piece is one of my favorites. It has a cutout detail in the front, too. I styled this bikini with shorts, but it would look so cute with beach pants or a skirt as sort of a bodysuit, too. I’m wearing a size small for size reference. I wanted some sort of pop of color (and to try and make my beach hair not so tragic) so I added this cute little headband on top. One of several swimsuit accessories I love.

I absolutely love yellow this time of year. This cover up comes in a few other colors if yellow isn’t your thing though. It’s really easy to throw on when going down to the beach or pool or to a casual beach lunch. I loved that this cover up dress had pockets! The yellow is more sheer, but could be worn as a dress with a slip and the other colors look like they would be great as a dress on their own.

Palm print on repeat on vacation, always. I love any excuse to match the scenery and this one is so simple and cute. I love the fit of it! I actually loved it with sneakers and it’s so comfortable that I was actually thinking I could travel in it. The buttons on it are faux and it actually zips up the side. I’m wearing a size XS for reference.

How stunning is this dress? Ally let me borrow it and I just had to shoot it showing off the back and the gorgeous movement on it. It’s a super light pink or blush color with some metallic detail on it. I paired it with white accessories and love the subtle contrast between the two. This is a perfect vacation dress! It’s so flowy and comfortable.

I love a good smocked dress and this one is just adorable. I dressed it up with these heels, but it looks so cute with sandals, wedges, or even sneakers. I find smocked dresses like this to be surprisingly flattering. I love the swiss dot print paired with the embroidery on the ruffle edge. This is a dress I will wear countless times over the next few spring and summer months!

This was my cute and easy look for the trip home. I got a few compliments on this t-shirt in the airport because it’s so simple and cute! I love a good stripe t-shirt and I love the relaxed fit of this one. It comes in a few other colors and I’m wearing a size XS for reference. These denim shorts are my latest pair and I love the retro/vintage vibes of them. I bought my true size in them.

Stay tuned later this week for my full recap of this trip! I can’t wait to share more about Casa Koko, the gorgeous villa we stayed at while we were there. It was the beautiful backdrop you see in almost all of these photos!

Hope you all are having a wonderful week! I’m in the midst of outfit planning yet again because I have the rewardStyle conference here in Dallas this weekend which means it will be a jam packed weekend full of tons of meetings and events! Be sure to follow along on Instagram stories. XO
