I am so excited for today’s post because I am recapping every outfit I wore on my trip to San Miguel de Allende in Mexico two weeks ago for you all. This way, you can easily shop each look all in one place! San Miguel is such a fun and colorful city, so I really wanted to play off the vibes of it with my looks. If you’ve ready my other outfit recaps, like those from Boston, Miami or Santa Fe, then you know that I like to dress based on where I am going. I get so inspired to change it up and dress outside what I normally may wear when I travel and any trip to Mexico, but especially San Miguel is a perfect time to add in some fun color and patterns. Keep scrolling for my San MIguel outfit recap and stay tuned, because I’ll be sharing my travel guide soon with you all. Several of the photos below were taken around the amazing hotel we stayed at while there, Dôce 18 Concept House, that I can NOT wait to share more about with you all. It was one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at!!
There are two easy ways to shop each look: 1) click on the photos in the widget (click the arrows on the right for more products) or 2) click the text of each item below the description. If you have any questions about how to shop or anything else, please reach out! I’m always here to help make it as easy as possible for you all to find what you need.

First up, my airplane look. I always like to be comfortable when I travel, but kept it cute still for this flight since it was only a little over two hours. This romper is a super easy cotton fabric and I ordered up a size so it was extra comfy. It’s only $30 and is such a versatile piece. I am never without a denim jacket when I travel and I also haven’t left this tote bag behind since I got it. It’s THE best bag for travel or work and has a compartment for everything.

Next up, this little ray of sunshine dress. I’ve been crushing on all things yellow lately and this little ruffle dress was another one I just had to have. I loved that it could be so easily dressed up or down. It runs small, so size up at least one size, maybe even two depending on how you like things to fit. I paired it with these fun earrings, which you’ll see a lot of in the outfits to come. I love hoops year round and I love turquoise in the summer. It’s just so bright and fun!

Here’s those earrings again! I just loved these pants because they were so easy to throw on and so light weight. I couldn’t help but want to twirl around in them. They look great with so many different colored tops and also look great with flat sandals. I paired them with a crop top, but if you aren’t comfortable in one they also look so cute styled with a button down! I really played off the color in the pants with my top, earrings, and sunnies.

Omgoshhh I love this romper so much. I think it’s just perfect for summer time and especially for a summer vacay. The yellow piping detail is too cute. I was on the hunt for a cute yellow shoe for this look, but didn’t end up finding a pair I loved, so I kept it casual with tan sandals. I wanted a little more fun color, so I added this bag which can be worn three different ways! It’s one of my favorite hand bag designers, ZZP, and can be found at one of my favorite online stores along with so many other cute bags from the line. I adore this bag for travel. It’s great for all you mamas out there because it holds a lot but keeps your hands free.

This little ruffle dress is so fun! It could be dressed up for a wedding or down for dinner out on vacation. It has blush and metallic stripes all down it, so these metallic heels were a great compliment to that. You can’t really see my earrings in these photos, but they are big white acrylic hoops (I wear them in a few other looks) that matched my clutch.

The colors on this dress were just too fun not to play off of with my sunnies and shoes. I love the ruffle hem and the tie details. It’s great for hot summer nights! I would size up one in this dress, as it does run small. Can we talk about this room, too? It was one of the common areas of the hotel and I am just so in love with every detail of it.

This is one of my favorite photos from our trip! I went with Ally from Allyson in Wonderful (left) and Lynlee from Gal About Town (middle). Vanessa of The Retro Penguin also came as our photographer. We all wanted a shot on this iconic street with the church view, but had to be especially careful walking on those cobblestones in heels. To be honest, it was more swaying back and forth while holding on to each other and smiling, haha. We stopped and got flower crowns from a local street vendor to match our looks along the way. We wore them a few other times during the trip, too which was so fun. I love how all of our outfits complimented each other!

How fun is this two piece set? I love sets like these because you can mix and match them to end up wearing them so many different ways. I saw this vendor with all of these hats and paid him to take a picture with them in front of the big pink church in the middle of the square there. Then I opted for a more normal picture sitting on the steps. This set actually runs a little large, so I’d size down if you’re between sizes. It’s definitely meant to be flowy though!

I had to bust out the flower crown to add a little color again! I wish I could link it for you all to shop. I went with red accessories and a matching red lip with turquoise earrings. This dress is so comfortable and looks great dressed up or down. It’s a great price point for how versatile it is, too! I love the slit and tie details.

I don’t want to play favorites, but this look might be mine. Actually no, I can’t choose, but it’s so fun! I love rompers like this with a skirt. It dresses them up and gives them a little bit of drama. You can dress something like this up for a wedding or wear it with sandals. No matter how you wear it, it’s fabulous! I kept my accessories simple and wore a bright lip to play off the flowers. I’ve included two other items in this fun pattern above for you all to shop, because I think it’s so great for summer vacations or weddings!

I felt so festive in this look. The embroidery and the ruffle detail on this dress made it so fun and adding a hat and this perfect-for-summer bag just felt right for vacation. The smocked detail around the middle of this dress is really flattering. Great for helping hold in all the tacos and margaritas after a few days in Mexico!

This was definitely my statement look of the trip. I’d size up at least one in the top. The bottom was fitted, but I felt like it cinched in my waist, so that’s always great, but to make it more comfortable and versatile, I’d probably recommend going up one in the skirt, too. I love a good monochrome look, so I went with red lipstick for this look and added color with my earrings and my flower crown! I did black accessories that had a little tie or tassel detail, which I felt like helped keep the look classic and not too much with more color.

This floral dress is a linen blend material that makes it super light weight and easy. The ruffle, floral, and tie details make it a fabulous option for summer and vacation. I dressed it down, but it looks great with wedges or heels, too! These little knot sandals are a natural color and basically go with everything. Just like this bag! I love accessories like that.

I love, love, love this dress and this view. This is a classic floral print in my opinion and I love all things blue and white for summer time. I like the chiffon fabric of it and the slit and cut out details. Such a great, versatile piece! I went with my normal size, but could have sized up one, too.

Last but not least, my look home. Again with the comfortable, but decently cute. This t-shirt is hands down my favorite, as I own several of the same one in a few colors. I also love the crewneck version! These shorts have a matching blazer that look so cute together or separate.
