Today’s post is for all of you girls who know what you like in terms of your style, but you want to score it at a good value. I am definitely someone who knows what she wants and will find a way to get it. Today I am sharing my summer style with eBay and talking about how you can get perfect summer styles at a great price!

I was so excited to partner with eBay to share some summer fashion inspiration! I have been shopping on eBay for as long as I can remember. In fact, my eBay username is my old AOL/AIM screen name from middle school if that tells you anything. I am always down to find something at a deal. Even if you can save $20, that’s still $20 and the more you can do that, the more it adds up! My mom always taught the value of finding a bargain and I am oh so thankful for that. I can’t even imagine how much I have saved shopping on eBay over the years. I bought my first pair of ‘nice’ jeans on eBay and bought countless other items from them! I still have my first pair of Ray Ban aviators that I bought from eBay in high school, too.

SUMMER STYLE

First up, let’s talk summer style. Is there anything more summery than a little white dress? I swear, I live for a LWD over a LBD any day in the summer. It’s so fresh and there are just endless options. The lace and the two piece style of this one made it extra special. This dress is by one of my go to brands, For Love and Lemons. Their pieces are beautiful and season after season I find myself wanting almost everything they make. FLL pieces can be a bit of a splurge, so they are a brand that I frequently scour the Internet for trying to score them on sale or a little cheaper. There are so many adorable pieces from them on eBay! I wanted this dress and saw it on eBay and scored it for less than I would have if I would have ordered it from another online retailer. It arrived quickly and was in perfect condition—new with the tags still attached! I have also saved this adorable top and this cute dress from FLL to my watch list.

Chances are that your favorite brands can be found on eBay, too. If you see something you like on another site, go to eBay and search for it and I’m sure you can find it! My adorable tassel shoes and round bag can both be found on eBay, as can the gold and turquoise choker I am wearing that is part of a set of three. Seriously, they have it all!

Sunglasses are another thing I love to find for less. Particularly because I consider myself a sunglass junkie. They are one of those items that get amazing CPW (Cost Per Wear) and you can legit wear them every day and its no big deal. eBay has SO many amazing sunglasses from every day sunnies, to Ray Bans like my go to classic round pair I’m wearing here, to designer sunglasses. I’ve bought probably four different pairs of Ray Bans off eBay in my life time and I know that this pair will not be my last!

DID YOU KNOW?

At any given time there are over 1.1 BILLION, ya billion with a ‘b’, items listed on eBay at any given time. Almost 70% of the items on eBay ship for free and you can get most items in three days or less. Win, win, win. They also have payment plans available for items, so you can score something splurge worthy without breaking the bank.

One reason I’ve shopped on eBay for so long is because of their service. They keep their promises and not only have a money back guarantee for their listings, but also guaranteed delivery and a price match guarantee. They are so responsive and I’ve honestly never made a purchase that I wasn’t happy with.

THE THRILL OF THE BID

I’ll be honest, I think it can be really thrilling to bid on something and wait to see if you’re going to win. I’ve been in a bidding war or two on eBay before—some I’ve won and some I’ve lost, but it can still be fun either way. When I find a really rare pair of vintage earrings from a favorite designer or something else similar, I can’t help but add them to my ‘watch’ list and put in a bid or two. You never know! If bidding isn’t your thing and you just can’t take the pressure, no worries. Over 81% of all the merchandise sold on eBay is new and available with the ‘Buy it Now’ option aka no bidding is necessary. Bye bye bidding wars! I’m into the buying it now because sometimes I just need that immediate gratification and I want to guarantee what I’m getting. If it’s something I just want to keep my eye on, the ‘watch list’ and bidding is a perfect way to do that!

I can’t believe that it’s just a few more days until the kids in school are on summer vacation. I work two weeks after the kids get out and the teachers finish, so I have a little less than a month left until my true summer starts. It definitely feels like summer in Dallas already though! I hope that you all are having a great week so far. XO

In case you missed it, be sure to check out last week’s Friday Favorites post all about the smocked trend. Also, since summer means wedding season, check out all the jumpsuits for weddings I shared, including one to die for one that I styled for you all and that I’m wearing to a wedding in a few weeks.
