It’s just too gorgeous to pass up any time spent outside this time of year! My husband and I were each brainstorming ideas for some date nights this month and I came up with the idea for a family picnic for one of the dates I was planning. It was the perfect excuse to go outside, relax, soak up the beautiful weather, and enjoy some of our favorite things: cheese and wine. We decided after we got married to make sure we each planned a date night for the other at least once a month. It’s been so fun coming up with different ideas and surprising each other with a new restaurant or a fun activity! Today, I’m sharing these cute photos from our family picnic date night and talking about Adorada wines.

Adorada is a California based wine company who was inspired by the way a fragrance being dabbed on the wrist may evoke certain senses and memories. When they debuted across the country with two aromatic wines, Rosé and Pinot Gris, they made each bottle with a luxurious draping of wax, to emulate a sleek aesthetic that was reminiscent of classic perfume bottles. 

Adorada Rosé is a delicate pink wine with scents of spice and ginger, intermingled with strawberry and antique red rose aromas. The palate is lightly sweet, with juicy watermelon and honeycomb flavors, framed by a zesty hint of white pepper. We love wines that aren’t too sweet and have a hint of pepper, so this one was perfect for us!  Adorada Pinot Gris opens with apple, pear and honeysuckle aromas. A palate of orange blossom, orange zest, lemon and honey dew melon is underscored by just a hint of sweetness. Each of these delicious wines retails for under $20!

Adorada—meaning “adored” in Spanish—is the quintessential wine for those who appreciate the fine art of being pampered. Whether raising a glass to #roséallday, mixing up a #frosé cocktail, or sipping Pinot Gris on date night, Adorada wines deliver amazing aromas and flavors that elevate the typical glass of wine to a more sensory experience. We’ve been eating more and more fish over meat, which always pairs so nicely with white wines and means I end up drinking more white!
