It’s almost America’s birthday! I always remember that the Fourth of July is almost here after my birthday, which was yesterday. I absolutely love July 4th! It’s such a fun excuse for a celebration and to dress up festive. I like to go all out with red, white, and blue and to add in stars or anything else patriotic however I can. Today, I am sharing some of my not one, but two festive outfits. Also, because it’s Friday and I always do a Friday Favorites post I am showing you some of my favorite Americana clothing and accessories in an easy to shop collage.

One of my favorite places to shop for fun and festive clothing is Nasty Gal. I’ve been shopping on their site for years and everything is always on trend and at insanely good price points! I found so many adorable things, that I am sharing two looks that would make perfect 4th of July outfits with you all today. First up, is this adorable body suit and this fun wrap skirt.

TWO 4TH OF JULY LOOKS

I wore this first look to an adorable & fun bar in Dallas called Truck Yard and it would be perfect for any casual party you may have to celebrate America’s birthday. This body suit is so comfortable and can be styled so many ways! I loved it paired with this comfy skirt. The red border of the jump suit paired perfectly with this bright red skirt. I kept the look casual with these fun white sneakers with a little bit of leopard detail. I topped off the look with these fun cat eye sunnies, this gold star layered necklace, and a red lip. No American holiday is complete with a bold red lip! And a hot dog, of course.

From hot dogs and frosé to ice cream sandwiches. What is it about birthdays and holidays that result in eating all the things?! Personally, I think food and cocktails are the best way to celebrate anything! 4th of July celebrations are often a few days long, so I figured you’d need inspiration for more than one festive outfit. See below for my second July 4th look.

My second look was a good ole denim skirt with an uneven raw hem. I wore it with a star button down that I tied up to keep it cool and casual. This top will also be perfect for this Cowboys fan come Fall. I went with red accessories including these wedges that are so comfortable and these heart eye sunnies. I’ve been wanting a pair of sunglasses like this for so long. They are so cute and fun! I kept on my fun gold layered star necklace and a red lip, too. This look is perfect for a casual date night to watch the fireworks or for a fun family dinner or dessert run. You can’t go wrong with an ice cream cookie sandwich on a hot, summer night! Plus, what is a birthday without dessert?!
