While you really can’t go wrong with a little black dress, sometimes you need to elevate it a bit. That’s where black lace comes in! I love wearing black, and definitely gravitate to darker colors in the winter, so I often find myself trying to change up my black looks with different fabrics and textures. This dress caught my attention during a site wide sale and I couldn’t pass it up. It’s an amazing price all the time, especially for the quality. I wanted to show you can transition your LBD into the cooler months, so I paired this black lace dress with this beautiful black and burgundy ombré coat. I love that its a statement coat while still showcasing classic fall/winter colors. You could wear a coat like this over a dress or with jeans and a t-shirt!

I went to a fun event with Glossier last night and I not only walked away with a happy stomach full of pasta, but with a few new goodies. I tried them this morning and am already obsessed with this lipstick (I got the color ‘LIKE’) and this brow gel (I got clear). I’ve been dying to try their stuff for awhile and was instantly hooked when I put it on. This whole week I’ve felt like it’s one day a head and its no different today. I woke up thinking “Yessss, Friday.” At least I have a haircut after work and a date night with the hubs to look forward to tonight! Also, I get to wear pajamas to work tomorrow so..
