This is THE softest thing I own right now. For realll. I would recommend this dress for a number of reasons. First, I feel like you could feel this and instantly be less stressed. It’s a faux microsuede type fabric and its insanely soft. I need blankets in every color made out of this material ASAP. Second, the fit. I love how easy and flowy the silhouette of this dress is. It makes it so easy but the sleeve detail keeps it fun and flirty. Third, the endless possibilities. I’ve worn this dress with flat sandals around during the day and dressed it up for a shower with heels like I did here. Wedges would be another great option to wear with this for a shower or other event. It’d be great for a Spring wedding, too. Lastly, the color. I LOVE this blush and with white accessories and a little bit of a tan, it’s an oh so pretty look.

This past weekend was SO much fun. Friday night I went to dinner with a Dallas blogger friend then had some wine on the rooftop of a bar in Dallas with my fianceé and some of his friends. I went home and went to bed early, which I was so excited about. On Saturday, I woke up and shot some outfits despite it being cold and insanely windy. Afterwards, we went and got Charles fitted for a tux for our wedding and suit for our rehearsal dinner at The Black Tux. It was so easy and I LOVE the ones that we chose. We ate lunch at one of our fav healthy spots, HG Supply Co, then I came home to shower and get ready. That evening I attended the AHA’s Gala with my girlfriend who was in town from Napa. She was here representing the winery she works for, MacCauley, and we had the most wonderful night. Between drinking some amazing wines, having insane food pairings, and catching up with with my friend, it was so much fun. I didn’t go to sleep until after 3:00 AM so Sunday I slept in as long as I could.
I finally got up yesterday around noon, gave Maddie a bath, cleaned our apartment, did some laundry, worked out, and showered. Charles and I did a little quick shoot that afternoon and then made a Target run. I got caught up on Thank-You notes, we took care of a few wedding/honeymoon details, and I did some blog work. It was a decently productive Sunday, although I’m sure I could have crossed off more from my to-do list had I gotten up earlier. I don’t have too much going on so far this week, but next Saturday I have another charity gala to attend. I’m using these as good times to practice my makeup for our wedding! Hope that you all had a great weekend and that your Monday is off to a good start. XO
