I’ve said several times before that I adore the choker trend that is back. When I saw this little cutout swing dress that gives the illusion of a choker (particularly when styled under a jacket) I didn’t think twice before I ordered it. The only dilemma I had as I was checking out was whether or not I should order more than one. Looking back, I want it in more colors and am thinking I need to order the shimmery black one, too. I went with this teal color originally because I think it can go through each season depending on what accessories it is paired with. It’s finally cooling down to where I need a jacket in Dallas, so I threw on this leather one with it. It’s such a comfortable dress and I love that it can be dressed up or down. I wore it to a rehearsal dinner of a wedding the first time I wore it and have since worn it out or even during the day dressed down with flats. With this outfit, I wanted to wear these snakeskin booties 1) because I’m obsessed and 2) I loved the way they looked with the color of this dress.

Because I adore this choker/cut out dress style so much, I’ve linked a few other favorites in a variety of colors and price ranges, too.
